Cottage well maintained and well equipped and has lovely view of the river. Information from host was excellent and timely re location and parking and how to access. This made the issue re terrace easement not communicated very difficult to understand. This is outlined in 'what didn't you like' section

The back garden/terrace is not secure and is an easement through to other adjacent properties. There are signs (put up by neighbours) asking tenants not to block the pathway down the side of the property nor the access to neighbours' back gardens. Upon entering the cottage, there were two laminated posters provided confirming this and asking that dogs are kept on leads when on the terrace. There is nothing on the cottage details on booking.com giving these details or we would not have booked it. I suggest owner looks at rules on easement and installs unlocked gates at either end of the terrace if this is allowed so neighbours have access when needed but tenants have some security and privacy.

A cosy, clean bolt hole to venture out to the amazing area. The beds were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Being next to the river was such a bonus as it was good to hear the waves and rushing when the doors were open and sit to chill next to it. Communication was very good with the host

There was nothing so bad that couldn’t be rectified. The hob didn’t work but I know if I’d contacted the host it would have been dealt with quickly. There’s an oven and microwave so I wasn’t too miffed about it. Parking is a bit tight. Originally there were 3 of us going from different areas of the country so extra outside parking spaces would have been good but understand the amount of properties in one area stop you from having that. Not such a big issue as I travelled by train. The host did explain and posted photos of where we could park if the area was full.

Beautiful interior and immaculately clean. Views out the back are wonderful.

They should’ve said it was on three floors. It smells of damp. The town Bethesda is a dump. When you pull up outside, it’s horrible.

Good location, kitchen, shower and bedding was spotless.

Property could do with some general maintenance around the house. Carpet loose on stairs.
