Das Elizabeth Grace Cottage wurde von unserem Urgroßvater gebaut und seitdem von unserer Familie liebevoll gepflegt. Es liegt direkt am Meer, nur wenige Schritte vom kleinen, mit Strandrosen gesäumten Rasen hinunter zu einem wunderschönen, vier Meilen langen, halbprivaten Strand. Verbringen Sie Ihre perfekten Sommertage mit Schwimmen, Kajakfahren, einem morgendlichen Lauf oder einfach nur im Sand. Wenn der Tag vorbei ist, spülen Sie den Sand unter dem Wasserhahn im Freien ab. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurden Aktualisierungen vorgenommen, die sich auf die Aufrechterhaltung der Integrität des ursprünglichen Häuschens konzentrieren, jedoch mit den für die heutige moderne Familie notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet sind.
In der ersten Etage befindet sich das Wohnzimmer am Meer, das von einem schönen natürlichen Kamin verankert wird. Die voll ausgestattete Küche mit offenem Konzept ist ein großartiger Ort für ein schnelles Mittag- oder Frühstück. Angrenzend an die Küche befindet sich eine Veranda im Vorraum; Der Tisch für zehn Personen ist ein Favorit für das Speisen im Freien mit einfachem Zugang zum Gasgrill. Es gibt auch ein halbes Bad.
Der zweite Stock verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer, eines mit direktem Meerblick und die anderen beiden haben einen Blick auf das Meer. Alle verfügen über große Betten und teilen sich ein Vollbad. Über die Treppe in den dritten Stock befindet sich ein ausgebauter Dachboden namens The Bunkhouse, perfekt für Kinder! Schlafen Sie zu den Geräuschen der Wellen eines Bettes im Haus.
Zur Ausstattung gehören: Strandtücher, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Keurig-Kaffeemaschine und Haartrockner.

Ungefähr fünf Meilen entfernt können Sie Perkins Cove und die malerische Stadt Ogunquit zum Einkaufen und Essen genießen. Besuchen Sie den Marginal Way für Küstenwanderungen und verpassen Sie nicht den berühmten Kennebunkport. Wir begrüßen Sie zur Magie der Elizabeth Grace!

What a wonderful week we recently spent at the Elizabeth Grace. Not only is the beach house comfy and cozy but it has all of the amenities you need. Every bedroom is beautiful and has a soft comfy bed. The upstairs bath has a great full size tub/shower and plenty of space which you don't always find in an older beach house. The kitchen had everything we needed and although we didn't spend much time inside the living room was comfy and very cozy. The inside front porch dining area was the best ! We ate all of our dinners out there and enjoyed our morning coffee on the beach side porch. The concrete patio on the water's edge offers spectacular views of the entire beach. Julie and Cynthia were both fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had. It was such a relaxing week to wrap up our summer :)

This traditional cottage is near next to perfect! It is welcoming, and friendly with beautiful views of the ocean. Overall, a home that is obviously well loved and cared for. The up-to-date kitchen is well-equipped. The bedrooms have good air flow on very hot nights, and on cold mornings, the heat kicks in. (in our one week stay, we had both). There is bright sun on the patio and shade on the porch, with plenty of room for everyone. It is a comfortable and comforting retreat.
The beach access is more limiting that we had anticipated, possibly due to the tide schedule. and the steep steps to the beach can be tricky for some folks.

It has been about 10 yrs since the last time we visited the Elizabeth Grace. All the good things stayed the same and nice improvements with others. Having the whole family together again was priceless. Thank you for allowing us to reconnect and share great memories. Hopefully we can crate some more. Thanks again.

The property is truly a classic oceanfront cottage with heartwarming touches of the beauty that family closeness brings.
There are several examples of artful paintings adorning the rooms
with beautiful scenes of themes from sea. (Many by Julie)
The kitchen is well equipped for whatever culinary delights you can imagine. We definitely recommend this home by the sea for a pleasant, and relaxing vacation.

We stayed at the Elizabeth Grace Cottage in mid-October. We have been coming to Maine for years and this was truly a great discovery. The cottage is as described. It is well equipped and the fireplace is wonderful for those cool Fall nights. It is on a perfect part of the beach for those who crave tranquility. This is a real find
and we were so pleased to be able to find a nicely appointed cottage that is dog friendly and somewhat of a historical gem. It seems to have been constructed circa 1900 and is truly well maintained and has great history. Tastefully decorated and well located to all amenities and the views of the ocean are spectacular from the porch. We will definitely return. Thank you Julie, Cynthia and Richard for such a pleasant and memorable vacation. We are lucky to travel a lot and this was a great find.

We have been renting cottages in Maine for over 40 years and this one is the best; great semi-private beach location allows for long walks with the dog at all times. The house is well maintained, with great taste in all details, great comfort and convenience, kitchen equipment (new pots and pans, good kitchen knives, gas stove). There are not a lot of pictures on the page but you will not be disappointed with what you will find.
We rented for 2 weeks and felt at home on day 1. Thank you Julie, Cynthia and Richard for renting your wonderful family house.

This last week has been needed for so very long. I can’t thank the Jutras family enough for opening their home to us and our dogs for the past week. It’s not easy to find a beach front home that will take dogs. The house was perfect - warm, cozy, and it didn’t have the sterile feel that many rental places have. You walked in and immediately felt at home. This has been the most relaxing, most comforting, and most healing weeks I have ever had. Don’t think twice about booking. The place is worth every cent plus some! When packing today to leave, I really wish we had booked for two weeks. I can’t wait for the opportunity to go back again. Thank you Julie and family!
