Reviewer Comments: To begin with check in is suppose to be at 3pm My family and I we did not check in until close to 5:30 pm because the previous people destroy the cabin and left a big mess does not make sense why check in out is at 10 am.I was very upset that Elk Spring notify me only 1 hour before check in time ,we almost loose all the food we bought because it was just sitting in the car.The cleaning crew did a good job cleaning;however the pool was very cloudy and we did not use it because since the previous people threw up all over on a couch that it was removed, we were afraid they did the same thing in the pool.Lady that my husband spoke on the phone was very nice but she said that her bosses said that everything was fine.

There were 6 adults and 6 children ranging from 2 years to 14 years old. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature and the hottub was perfect! The theater room was very comfortable.There was an issue with overall cleanliness. There was trash in the firepit and a couple of the bathrooms had some debris in the showers. There was a leak in the bunkroom bathroom so we used another one but let the office know that's what we planned to do. It needed some basic cleaning of cobwebs and the grill cabinet outside needed repairs. We did not use the grill. There were cigarette butts in the front yard and some trash under the back deck. A few of the dishes had to be rewashed.With all of that said, we had an amazing time and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. It was just what we wanted being all together.It might be a good idea to have someone walk around and take note of general painting of the deck and moving the cushions to make sure there is no trash.I appreciated the texts and phone messages of welcome and fast response to our questions. I think the communication of the management company was great.

Toilet was broken for three days before fixing. Pool chair fell apart while someone was sitting in it. Needs more furniture especially in the bedrooms. On a positive note the cabin was located well to Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge and other amenities.

Our check in time did get pushed back twice which kinda sucked. Overall it was a nice cabin. The pool kept the kids entertained and off electronic devices so we were happy to have that. I would recommend to people. The only thing that would have made it better, is if it was handicap accessible. My brother is in a wheel chair so it was difficult for him with tue stairs. We made it work though.

Pool little cloudy/ ran out of propane in the mist of grilling but came within an hour. What I would do next time? Out door games this yard was leveled/ my own pillow. This cabin was convenient to outdoor trails/ Basketball court/ book store/ easy access to sunrise viewing/ llama/ waterfall/ Spring water Trails/ walmart and great apple pies.. Something for all my family. Great area. Yes we will do it again. Would love the same cabin as my family grow there is a smaller cabin in walking distance to this one. Love my experience and access to the cabin was great. Thank You

This is our favorite. Elk Springs Resorts is very friendly. The cabin in well maintained and the kitchen is stocked with everything you may need. The alarms to all the pool doors work. I highly recommend this cabin.

We had to wait an hour to check in because they had to fill the pool which never warmed up, the kids still made the best of it though. Movie theater is in pretty rough shape, light fixtures are falling, patches all over the walls and still had crayons and popcorn under the seats when we arrived. The game room was great, we spent a lot of time up there. The beds were comfortable, the bunk beds upstairs however don’t have a ladder to climb up and the mattress is pretty flush with the rail so we couldn’t put the little ones on top. Kitchen & bathrooms were stocked well with appliances/dishes and linens. The location was far enough out of town to avoid a lot of traffic and close enough to get to where you need. Our group had a wonderful time visiting.This is a great cabin but could really use some easy touch ups.
