loved the animals and the shabby chic vibe of the cottage

Awaking to the roosters song and the peacocks beautiful plumage.

We loved the eclectic decor. The individual units were so creative. Waking up to the glow from a stained glass window was sublime! The most amazing part was the animals. We visited them on check-in and again in the morning. A sweet black kitty was curled on our porch in the a.m. Their friendly doggo escorted us around the property. The animals looked happy and healthy. We felt good that our stay supported this family and their animals.

There was only one hiccup. I booked the stay on booking.com, and either I didn’t get the instructions about the place that Airbnb guests get, or I missed that email. I did call on arrival, and Sean seemed annoyed that I didn’t refer to the ‘detailed instructions in the email’. He mentioned that at least three times—I just wanted directions about where to park and which room was ours. After that, everyone we encountered was lovely and the stay was great.

Natalie and Sean fantastic, welcoming and experts on the Animals… we had so much fun talking about all they do to care for these amazing animals… the beauty and the colors of birds wow. Our room was unique, Very comfortable we will definitely be back.

The hosts were incredibly nice, and staying on an actual farm was a truly amazing experience. Also very close to many wineries and we had no difficulty with rideshares or food deliveries. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone looking for an extra unique experience.

The farm animals were as advertised and well cared for - the room was eclectic and clean. Steam stove kettle in the room. Good bed.

The sheep flies were as advertised but COVID has obviously been a good breeding year for them. Not great for sitting outside to enjoy the farm scene. Unfortunately we had no hot water at any time - for arrival eve or depart next morning - cold showers and smelly pits are not my thing. Wasting gallons of water hoping for something tepid to come through the shower rose feels wrong in fire country. Only stayed one night as a launch point for Temecula & the winelands so we dug deep and swallowed it.

It was down to earth. People are nice. Most of all felt like home.
