Das Windmill Inn Bed & Breakfast befindet sich im malerischen Wapiti Valley, das für seine atemberaubende Schönheit und einzigartigen Felsformationen bekannt ist. Teddy Roosevelt nannte es "die schönsten 52 Meilen in Amerika". Wir sind günstig gelegen, etwa 30 Meilen von Yellowstone und 20 Meilen von Cody, Wyoming. Unsere zentrale Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Yellowstone Park, das Buffalo Bill Center des Westmuseums, Wildwasser-Rafting, Angeln, Jagen, Wandern und nächtliche Rodeos in Cody zu genießen.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem 12 Hektar großen Grundstück, angrenzend an ein öffentliches Grundstück, so dass viel Platz zum Wandern vorhanden ist. Das Haupthaus verfügt über zwei Gästezimmer im Obergeschoss (Offutt- und Wapiti-Zimmer), ein komplettes Bad im Obergeschoss, ein Pulverzimmer im Erdgeschoss, ein Esszimmer, ein Solarium und einen Poolraum mit 60-Zoll-TV, Sitzbereichen und einem Kamin.
Es ist ein Mindestaufenthalt von zwei Nächten und keine Kinder erlaubt.

This beautiful Wyoming cottage is excellent- beautiful views on the deck in the front and in the back, and from every window! You will be right in the middle of real, authentic Western country..... and not too far from the city of Cody for a fantastic museum experience and a nighttime rodeo! Additionally, the eastern gate of Yellowstone awaits only a half hour away. Amazing, gorgeous drives are all around the area, which the owners kindly assist in planning with their guests. The gracious hostess of the cottage makes beautifully presented and delicious tasting breakfasts everyday for the guests who are fortunate enough to stay at this cozy retreat. You couldn't stay at a more relaxing place than this.... and with the most genuine and caring owners!!!!

Everything was perfect. From the check in, communication with the host, sleeping arrangements, cleanliness, and the yummy food - our stay was just right! In fact, I would rate it higher if I could. The cottage had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and even gave us tips on where to go in Yellowstone. In addition, the location was perfect to travel to the East Gate of Yellowstone National Park. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Accommodations were comfortable. We stayed in the cottage. Bed was very comfortable. Nice decks to enjoy a glass of wine. Rod & Suzie were wonderful! They quickly felt like long time friends. The breakfast was incredible. The two mornings we left early thinking we would miss breakfast - nope Suzie packed us a wonderful box breakfast! Beautiful night sky! Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed everything about Windmill Inn. They have thought of everything to help make your home away from home so enjoyable! The views and breakfast were fabulous as well!

I don't even know where to begin. It all seems like a dream. I have never stayed at a B&B this nice in my life. I mean everything was perfect. I am a lover of fine details and the impeccable taste at the tiniest of details that Rod and Suzie exhibited was, well, impeccable.
If I ever start a B&B then I hope I can impart a tenth of the luxury and comfort that Rod and Suzie have created with this cottage.
Everything, I mean everything was perfect to the last detail. The breakfast was marvelous. It was all just perfect.
Additionally, Rod and Suzie are treasure troves of information on Yellowstone and I don't believe any website could offer me the sort of golden nuggets that they gave me on Yellowstone.
When I visit Yellowstone again any time, this is the place I would opt to stay. I will change my vacation dates, if need be, so as to be able to stay here.

We stayed three nights. The cottage was just as described. Beautiful setting with wonderful hosts. Breakfast was great. The property is in a rural setting but within 15 minutes of Cody. My wife and I like dogs and cats and the owners had both that we enjoyed. I believe we will be back.

The hosts were warm and friendly. Susie is an extremely good chef with a homemade quiche and eggs Benedict for breakfast. The views were exactly as pictured online….stunning!! Would stay again without question

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. View was beautiful, cabin was well stocked and had everything you needed. Hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Great breakfast. We really liked the deck outside and the owners cats were sweet and lovable. Lots of extra touches.

Just Awesome!
This was by far our favorite VRBO rental ever! Rod & Suzie were amazing hosts! We stayed in the Cottage and it had everything we needed for our home away from home. Make sure you are hungry every morning because Suzie is an excellent cook and the breakfast will be a wonderful surprise every day. Even the To Go Box breakfast was wonderful. Rod & Suzie make you feel special on your vacation! They were both also really helpful at helping us find many things to do. I fell in love with cats and dogs also and was so sad to leave Rod, Suzie, the animals and the beautiful scenery. There are tons of Elk that hang around too which was very exciting. If we ever get to go back we would stay at the Windmill Inn again for sure! Thank you for many wonderful memories Rod & Suzie!! Brian & Sheila----Missouri June 11--17, 2022.

We stayed for two nights at the end of our trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The location of this rental is wonderful. It is very scenic and a quick drive to Cody. The cottage was spotless and so comfortable. The hosts were great! We would not hesitate to stay here again!!!

The only thing that would have made it better is if it had a shower instead of a bath tub .

We stayed in the cottage. Nicely furnished for preparing your own meals. The bed was very comfortable. Great views of the surrounding landscape from the private deck. Rod and Suzie were wonderful hosts. Delicious breakfasts! Rod gave us tips on where to go within the park to get the best views and chances at seeing wildlife. We had a wonderful time there. It was a great place to stay but he two things that made this just a perfect time were: 1. the advice from Rod... He brought us to hidden Gems and practical hints. 2. The breakfasts. I have not had better and Susie's cooking was fantastic. They treated us like royalty. I cant complement them enough.
