The house and the place are absolutely lovely. Highly recommend.

The studio apartment was great – really well decorated with high quality materials, fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable longer stay. The air conditioner was very effective and quiet. The beach is across the street, and generally the location is excellently balanced for the beach holiday and accessibility to the main connections for exploring the surrounding area by car or even train. The owner lives in the territory as well, and was extremely helpful with advice and answering all of our questions – really tried to speak English and make sure we understood everything. We had a really lovely stay here.

The studio apartment on the ground floor does not have a sea view as this is blocked by the fence and then beach bar/parking lot. The only real downside of the apartment itself was really poor wifi (a positive if your really want to switch off, I suppose!), which we needed for some research of our plans. That did not, however, dampen the mood too much, and other qualities of the apartment made up for it.

Great location, just opposite the beach. Clean and well looked after by the owners who have thought of everything guests may need. The apartment has everything to live in comfortably. We will definately return for a longer period of time.

Excellent location, beach just accross the street, very nice host.

The apartment is directly opposite the gorgeous beach of Castellaneta Marina. We preferred to stay close to the beach rather than the centre, for the convenience of walking directly to the sea. We had a hire car. We didn't have any parking problems, because our parking is on a secure drive, included with the accommodation. Castellaneta Marina beach is beautiful, clean, friendly and safe. It has lots of beach bars open in the daytime (but for the evening it's best to go into the town for more variety of restaurants for dinner, which we often did with a quick 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk). There are a couple of supermarkets in the town, and the fresh local produce is the best you will get! If you have a car (recommended) there are so many local towns, countryside, mountains and cities to discover. The Apulian culture is the best culture in Italy! Please learn the Italian language before you come here! We stayed in their 2 bedroom apartment, which has everything you need, including a very large balcony with a seating area and the sun all day. It was perfect for our baby, much better than a hotel, we had flexibility for cooking meals, refrigerating food, and a different room for the baby to sleep. Furthermore, there is a washing machine, and all the cleaning equipment you need to keep the apartment tidy (it is already immaculate!) They also have another apartment which looks lovely too. The beds are REALLY comfortable, and they kindly provided a cot for our baby too. There is great air conditioning in the apartment. TV in the bedroom and also the kitchen. The owners, Enzo and Domenica live in the villa downstairs. They are the most friendly, happy, generous hosts we have ever met during our travels. Every day they would greet us and talk, we felt so welcome every day. Always smiling, always there to help with anything. Enzo let our baby sit on his Harl Davidson and he loved it!

I wish we could stay much longer!
