Our bedroom was a bit cramped

A great location walking distance in to Bowmore. Beautiful views of the water from the front window. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook in. For coffee drinkers, there is a cafetiere (French press). Having the washing machine was great (bring detergent) and there are a couple of drying racks and clothes line out back if the weather permits. Hair dryers available.
The garden is quite large but no place to sit outside to enjoy the view. The showers are small and the openings to the shower are no more than 18 inches, tight squeeze for even average folks and shaving legs is an adventure. The gate to the parking is a bit tight - easier to back in. We would still stay here again!

Excellent location with superb views. Well equipped kitchen with plenty dishes, pots and pans etc. 2 bathrooms.
Spare kitchen roll and bin liners would have been helpful and saved a trip to the shops
also toilet rolls.

The location was superb and very central for the island. Very convenient for a short walk into Bowmore. Fabulous view of the bay from the lounge window. The house was well equipped for self catering.
Although very clean and comfortable inside, we thought that the outside grey rendering would look much better if it was white to fit in with the surrounding properties. The fencing along the access to the property could be reduced to make it easier to get a vehicle on to the parking area.

Very clean and well equipped throughout, fabulous views over the loch and associated bird life, great location for visiting the whole island, very helpful housekeeper and family
We found the beds much softer than we are used to but it hasn’t stopped us rebooking for next year

Amazing location with stunning view.
Short walk into shops, restaurants and bars. Large bungalow with a new kitchen that had everything. Bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage.

Felt like home, very clean and comfortable. The view out the livingroom window was amazing. Very lucky with the amazing weather, will be back next year. 🌞

The house is very spacious and comfortable. The house owners catered to our every need and made sure our holiday was very enjoyable. The location is very near to Bowmore, which is roughly 10 mins walk away.

Location (amazing view - we miss it!), space and cleanliness, very good quality linen and towels, two sofas....Two showers.....excellent accommodation.
The only problem we had was with the TV. Although Richard willingly came to sort it out we continued to have some difficulties. We did not expect such a complicated setup and think we should at least have received instructions to help us. And maybe both TVs should have been thoroughly checked over before our arrival.

Lovely comfortable house in a great location. We used it as a base to explore the beautiful island of Islay, lots to do and see and a fabulous trip away, just what we needed. Thoroughly recommend.
