Viele Besucher möchten nah am Geschehen in der Innenstadt von Gatlinburg sein und möchten nicht unbedingt so viel ausgeben oder brauchen alles, was eine Kabine zu bieten hat. Das heißt aber nicht, dass Sie in einem Hotelzimmer übernachten und alle Vorteile einer Ferienwohnung nutzen müssen. Im Gatehouse 106 erwarten Sie ein Kamin, eine Terrasse, eine große Sitzecke, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, in der Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten zubereiten können, und Zugang zu einem saisonalen Außenpool. Noch wichtiger ist, dass Gatehouse das jüngste Apartmentgebäude ist, das in Gehweite zur Innenstadt liegt. Es ist ein neueres Gebäude, das privat, gepflegt und ruhig ist. Sie haben also alle Annehmlichkeiten, um in Gatlinburg in einer neueren Einheit zum Kabinenpreis zu sein!

This condo was so peaceful. The sound of the creek flowing by the balcony is so relaxing. There was very little noise from the street and the other guest were all quiet and kind. It was unexpectedly nice to receive a call from the rental company the day after check-in to make sure everything was up to our expectations. Looking forward to coming back in the fall.

Everything seemed great with the condo until we went to use the sofa bed for the evening. Trying to get the sofa bed out was extremely difficult and once we got it out we noticed that the frame had been zip tied together, making it unusable. We then tried to get the sofa bed back in and literally couldn't. We had to wait until maintenance got there around midnight for him to manhandle it back in place in order for us to even be able to use it. While waiting for maintenance to get there, we read through the journal and it was noted in June that the sofa bed was broken. So this unit had been falsely advertised since at least June. We would not have stayed in this unit had we known that, as it did not fit our party with only 2 beds. We asked if there was another unit they could move us to and they did not have anything. So someone in our group had to sleep on the couch the entire time, which was not the most comfortable experience. We asked for some form of compensation and the only thing they offered was a 15% discount, which didn't even cover the portion paid by the person that was stuck sleeping on the couch!
