We had a great stay. The house is so unique and tucked into such a beautiful setting. Perfect location for great days skiing/snowboarding at Sugarbush. We would definitely return!

Our stay on Prickly Mountain was delightful. The house is cozy yet spacious and stocked with many necessities and more. We loved having the opportunity to stay in such a unique home with the most incredible views.

The house is beautifully nestled in the mountains with stunning views. It is very spacious and has plenty of rooms, which worked perfectly for our larger family. The location is easy to find, but access to the house itself can be a bit challenging—the stairs are very steep and should be noted in the listing description.When we arrived, it seemed the home hadn’t been used for a while. There were quite a few dead flies and spiders on the master bedroom sheets. The upstairs bedroom with the panoramic window has an amazing view, but the glass was so dirty that it blocked much of it—though we did enjoy seeing the stars at night.The heat worked well, but cleanliness was definitely an issue throughout our stay. The kitchen was not well maintained: dishes and cups had stains and needed rewashing, the coffee maker was very dirty and required an overnight soak, and there were no fresh sponges provided. The fridge contained half-used food items like water bottles, butter sticks, and pasta jars, and even had some mold inside. Bathrooms also could have been cleaner, as I found hairs in the shower.On the positive side, the host was very communicative and responsive, and the location is truly wonderful. We understand that mountain homes naturally have some spiders or flies, but the general level of cleanliness fell short of what we expected. With better upkeep and attention to detail, this property could be an excellent stay.
