A few things to note, unless you rent the entire space, the house is partitioned, and you will have people above or below you. This is in the fine print, but I missed it. We were lucky as our ‘roommates ’ were great people. Will book again!

Very nice place to stay for our visit to Juneau. The location was perfect. The view was spectacular! The condo had everything we needed. Three days were plenty to see all of the sites.

Pictures don’t do this property justice. Everything about the inside and outside of the property were exactly as the pictures show. Breathtaking views, extremely clean. Michael was very pleasant to work with and eager to help with any concerns we might have. We didn’t have any because everything was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will DEFINITELY want to stay here again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not to mention the fantastic location (right on the water and less than 10 minutes from downtown Juneau) and unbelievable views! The property manager was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our stay and even gave us tour/restaurant recommendations. In all, we can't recommend this property enough! It was a wonderful home for the week!

This was a really great base to explore Juneau. We were able to watch eagles and otters from inside, and we even saw a seal! There is even a beautiful waterfall on property, contributing to the serenity, but getting to downtown was very easy.

I spent 33 days at this property while working in Juneau. The place was just like the pictures. Very nice inside with the most awesome views of the water and the mountains. Janell was an excellent host and made sure everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook during my stay. The kitchen also had lots of counter space making it easy to help prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms had lots of thick big towels and there was a lot of space for storage if needed. Everything was decorated beautifully. It was the most luxurious and comfortable stay I have had while ever staying in Juneau. I highly recommend this property if ever staying in Juneau. I hope to stay here again soon when I travel back. The location is near Douglas bridge so access to everything was close by. Janell also provided a nice complementary bottle of wine, thank you. The place was spotless when I arrived and the checkin was very easy. Thank you again Janell for providing a 5 star place to stay while in Juneau.

beautiful and we loved every minute of it

Unit is exactly as shown in pictures, however not user friendly. Owner did not answer emails advising what I needed to know before arriving, therefore we were never given the lock box code to get in. Within our party of 4, there were 2 General Contractor's, one of which is a real estate agent, which creatively, we figured out how to get in. Phone number listed in the VRBO site was non-working. The only way we reached the owner was to have a family member who lived in Juneau call her husband's office and leave a message to contact her new renters. She called the next day and said that she would have been too busy to show us how to get in anyway. Showers were difficult to use without getting water everywhere due to no shower curtain. No storage for personal bathroom items to be kept. Master bedroom had wafts of cat urine as well as in the living room. No outlets next to the bed in the master bedroom for electronics, but there were outlets on the wall at the foot of the bed, which made it very inconvenient. Refrigerator looks full size, but is very shallow and only has half the depth of a full sized refrigerator and does not fit most items. Washing machine lid fell on my head twice while trying to take laundry out as the spring that holds the lid up did not work. There were so many rules listed in her guest book that we were afraid to do much in the unit, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. There was damage in the unit in small areas that were minor, but we were worried that we would be blamed for them since we had no communication with the owner. We did receive our full refund as we left the unit clean and as stated in her guest book. Overall, it was a stressful stay, but we were there for a wedding and while we were touring the town or involved in the festivities of the wedding, we had a great time.

Our stay was everything we hoped for. The condo was spotless and set up with all the modern amenities. The location and views were stunning every day. The directions on everything from getting the keys to checking out were easy and intuitive and made the stay most enjoyable. I will recommend this property to all my friends.....10 out of 10!

Loved staying on Douglas Island! This home has everything you need and then some for an amazing time in Alaska. Excellently appointed, and well maintained in a convenient location. The addition of bicycles and kayaks adds to the opportunities for taking in all that the Juneau area has to offer. Kayaking with the harbor seals was the pinnacle of the week! Not only will I be back to stay at this property, I would highly recommend this property to everyone for a stay in Juneau!

Really loved the condo--super clean, modern furnishings and we felt very comfortable and at home at this condo. Close to all the places in Juneau we wanted to go to and it was easy to navigate from here. Strong wireless which we really appreciated! Overall great experience. Thanks

We stayed at 3 different properties while on our Alaska vacation and this was the best of the trip. Very new and modern design and the views were spectacular. The furnishings were all top rate and the kitchen is well stocked. We were on the bottom unit for 4 nights. My only comment is there are lots of stairs to walk down with your luggage to get to the front door so you need to be in good shape. There does seem to be some sort of system that can "trolly" your bags down but think you need permission to use it. Janell was always quick to respond during the booking process and the day we checked in. Highly recommend this property. Will stay here again next time we visit Juneau.

Everything was very nice. Fishing tackle was in poor repair and we did not have any dish towels. Not much firewood but it rained a lot so it was really no big deal. Gas grill was very nice and worked great. Overall very nice place.

This is the perfect place to stay! Clean, modern, amazing views...

The "Beach Condo with Stunning Views" is exactly that. It's right on the beach and the views are stunning. Besides being very clean and well appointed, the two best features for us were the big windows that look out on to Gastineau Channel and the kayaks. With that view, there was really no need for a TV. Being able to go kayaking without having to leave the property and find rentals was a huge bonus. Me and my 16 year old daughter kayaked to the Juneau/Douglas bridge one morning and had a wonderful time. At one point an eagle swooped down in front of my daughter and had a fish half way out of the water before dropping it and flying off. I also recommend kayaking in the rain. During our stay, we saw lots of Bald and Golden Eagles both flying and perched atop the gorgeous trees that line the beach. The property is perfectly located to reach anywhere you want to go in Juneau and the surrounding areas. I don't think we drove more than 20 minutes to any destination. Highlights for us included Mendenhall Glacier, Mount Robert's Tram, Perseverance Trail, Glacier Gardens and the Alaska State Museum. It's also cool to just walk around downtown and enjoy the local gift shops, restaurants and scenery. For big tourist attractions like the tram and Mendenhall Glacier, I recommend getting there early. If you wait until later, you'll be dealing with endless busloads of people coming from the cruise ships on their shore excursions. If you're a hiking enthusiast, there are almost too many choices. I went to Perseverance Trail because that's the one I had read about. I wasn't disappointed. I went out very early one morning and had one of the most beautiful places on Earth to myself. A photographer's dream. As for food, our favorite dinner spot was Pizzeria Roma, located in the Wharf Mall. There are many other choices though. Take a look around because there is much more to choose from than the "top ten" you'll find in a Google search. No matter where we went, it was always great to come back to a condo that was comfortable and surrounded by natural beauty. My only caveat would be, if you have an aversion to stairs, you might want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, you couldn't ask for a better accommodation. We've stayed at many Home Away/VRBO rentals over the years and this is certainly among the best. If we ever come back to Juneau, we can't imagine staying anywhere other than the "Beach Condo"

This home was by far the best experience on VRBO I've ever had. The pictures are exactly what you get, and Janell was so easy to work with and very accommodating for our stay. The pillows and beds were extremely comfortable, and all the towels looked brand new. The home is immaculate, and you will not be disappointed to stay here. We saw seals out the back window, along with daily eagles visiting right in the back along the water. You can't beat the location. We will be back!

Everything was clean and well maintained. Perfect location and lots of extras (bikes, kayaks, fire pit, etc). Hope to stay here again in the future!
