Nice cottage. Relaxing stay.

This property provided such beautiful memories for my family. I wouldn’t recommend for families who have young children under the age of 5 due to the high ledge that overlooks the lake. The owner was wonderful with providing all that was needed. We loved going on daily adventures along the beach as well as walking around the neighborhood that was in a very safe location. The sunsets were breathtaking and we had beautiful sunny days. I loved that we didn’t have air conditioning since we could feel the lake breeze.

This was our second stay at the lake house, because it was our home away from home! We love how cozy and comfortable it is and has everything we needed. There are plenty of spaces to relax and have a conversation or just read a book. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the sound of the waves on the lake soothing. Our host Andi answered any question we had, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, down to a basket of fleece blankets for chilly nights out by the fire (we didn’t need them with the summer temps we had). The location was perfect for us, very quiet neighborhood.

Like staying at Grandma’sThis home has a lot of nostalgia and history in it. It seems to be very old. Not a bad thing. It has evidence of being around during the early 1900’s. There is stamped lumber that has the name of a lumber company from Texas that was open from about 1905 until about 1985. There are Hubble electric outlets in the floor, which dates back to the early 1900s as well. The home is at an excellent location. Beautiful view of Lake Erie. We traveled the immediate area and extended out to Niagara Falls on multiple adventures. The downside of this property is that it doesn’t have air conditioning and the air was very stale when we walked in the door. We ventilated the house by opening windows and added an air freshener. It appeared that no one else had stayed in a little while.
