Perfect way to bring in the New Year. House was perfect for (2) couples or a small family. About a 15 minute walk fab restaurants and the dating rooms in town. Just a few minutes to all the wineries. Must visit J Lohr, Austin Hope, and Justin’s wineries.

Our stay at Quercus Acorn Cottage was very pleasant! It was very clean and everything was provided to make our stay enjoyable! It was close enough to town that you could walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed in quite a few VRBO properties with our dogs, and this cottage was by far the best ever. It was beautifully appointed, with everything one might need, spotlessly clean, and we especially enjoyed having the fenced yard so the dogs could watch the world go by from the front porch. We look forward to future visits to this, or another of Steve and Dawn's properties.

Enjoyed a long weekend at this wonderful property. Property was spacious and perfect for 2 couples. Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown and in a quiet part of town. Host was knowledgable and had wonderful winery recommendations as well. Will be back again!

This was the perfect place for our stay. The house itself was very pretty, super clean, and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen, super nice beds and we each had a great bathroom to ourselves. Outdoor space was very nice and we enjoyed the porch with a glass of local wine.
Neighborhood also very nice and walkable and even the restaurant district downtown was within a nice walking distance.
Will for sure stay here again in the future!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Cuercus Cottage. The communication with Steve was exceptional. One minor issue that was immediately handled. A very short walk to the newer Paso Marketplace and just a bit longer to the town square which made many restaurants and other little shots easy to get to. The cottage was very clean and exactly as pictured. On a pretty quiet street and across the street from a school but traffic to and from the school is on the opposite side so it was never an issue. Easy driving distance to many exceptional wineries. Its a great location to enjoy the town and the wineries. If you are a walker there are plenty of quiet streets and hills to tackle. We saw deer almost every morning. As advertised it does have a very nice front porch. Sat out and enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine/cocktails in the evening. I highly recommend the Quercas Cottage!

This was my third time to rent this property, so obviously I love it! It is absolutely perfect for two couples with two kings bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed. The house is a quick walking distance to downtown for dinner and to many coffee spots. The neighborhood is quiet and great for a morning walk. I’m sure we will be back!

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had found the right place. The cottage is furnished in an ideal mix of stylish and comfortable, and everything was clean and in perfect condition. The host, Steve, made sure to check that we had whatever we needed, and the house is fully supplied. Although it's cozy, it'a also big enough for two couples to have their privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, too--it's a nice walk to the square and a very short stroll to the Paso Market Walk shops. I am keeping this place bookmarked so that we can return!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely little cottage. The staff at Paso Robles Vacation Rentals were great to work with, and very responsive. Steve was a great host as well. The cottage is perfect for two couples, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is furnished very nicely and has been remodeled recently. Everything is new and nice, and the beds were very comfortable. It's also a great location, and within easy walking distance to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

In the heart of the city. Two blocks from Paso Market Walk, and walking distance to downtown. House was perfect inside. Updated with all accessories needed. Comfortable beds and great fenced area if you have a dog. Nice outside area with a gas grill and picnic table. Plenty of space 2 couples.

We were in Paso for the Three Speckled Hens antique/vintage show. Great house, walking distance to coffee and great dinner spot (in Bloom)

We really enjoyed this house and so did our dogs. Plenty of room both inside and out with a nice sized porch.
There is an A/C unit in the main living room and also in the bedroom, was very comfortable temperature wise since it was 100°+ outside.
Easy and short walk to town with plenty of little shops and cafes to hang out at. Wineries were all less than 10-15 minute drive away very convenient! Host also had maps and brochures out to help!
The yard is fenced in and a good size for the dogs to run around, the one thing is that it’s mostly gravel, dirt, and bushes so they would get pretty dusty and dirty after running around so we would have to clean them off before coming inside. There is a bbq in the yard that we used as well.
Host was helpful and responsive.

My husband and I took our new baby up to Paso for a long weekend and the house was exactly what we were looking for. Steve was available if we needed anything but the house was ready to go when we arrived. Very clean and perfect for either a family or two couples. It’s about a 3 minute walk to a small strip of restaurants/coffee and 10 to proper downtown. We’d definitely stay here again :)

We arrived in Paso Robles during a pretty intense heat wave so spent more time indoors than we usually do. Fortunately, this is a great place to hang out! Cool and clean with all of the amenities...including a fully fenced yard for the pups. Well done!

Great value, great location
We enjoyed our stay in this quaint, charming home. It was centrally located in a charming neighborhood and an easy 15 minute walk to downtown for us and the pup. Yard and neighborhood is dog friendly, yard is fenced and good for our somewhat larger dog but smaller dogs may be able to squeeze through fencing. Lots of dogs walking in the neighborhood which our pup enjoyed meeting. Restaurants and wineries in the area were very dog friendly but public parks not as much, had to divert a plan to picnic in the park to picnic on the porch which porch is nice for hanging out. It is situated across from a school where construction is occurring, we missed some of the construction noise due to staying over a holiday weekend and being out during the day, but good for others to know if staying mid-week.

Wonderful weekend in Paso. This cottage was perfect for us, lots of parking, fast wifi, clean/bright with open windows and 10-15 min walk to our events in downtown. Breakfast at "Touch of Paso" was also a highlight. Hope to return soon !

Quiet neighborhood close to downtown
Wonderful!
Only one issue was trouble trying to watch the NBA game using a remote whose brand didn’t match up with the remote instructions at the house. Ended up watching the game on laptop!
