The view from the master bedroom/balcony out over the Sea of Galilee was awesome. It was like being on a cruise ship! It was worth bringing your meal upstairs to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. The apartment is roomy, with one full bath downstairs and one full bath upstairs, comfortable side chairs as well as sofas (convertible to extra beds). The washing machine was easy to operate and a drying rack was provided. The heating units in each room worked well. The kitchen is fully equipped including a toaster. The owner has put a lot of effort into renovating the apartment, so you can be comfortable inside. The owner was very, very helpful in numerous ways. Excellent communication.

A filter/drip coffee maker would have been nice. There's a free-standing hot water dispenser, but it caused the power to trip off, so we unplugged it as we didn't need it. The downstairs view is over the unattractive roofs of the apartments below.. There was a foul odor in the upstairs bathroom that seemed to come from the vent that opens to the roof. I brought it to the owner's attention and I'm sure he'll look into a solution.

nothing just terrible filled with bugs and horrible smell

1. hygiene - the smell in the bathroom was terrible!! we showered and went to the bathroom in the front door tiny shower just so we can breath. the smell extended to the bedrooms. 2. bugs - mosquitos and insects ALL OVER - in the pots, bed, closet, bathroom, kitchen, sofa etc. nowhere without a bug. we couldn’t sleep at the main room because there were at least 100 bugs flying around and on the sheets and on the floor! we slept both nights in the tiny room. and made sure not to crack a window. the bugs came anyway in mass. 3. safety - the balcony downstairs is open and my kid got out to the dangerous roof!! it has an opening that is very very dangerous for children and I’m lucky I caught it after few seconds (my heart fell down! it’s soooo dangerous pls fix it!!) 4. sound and safety - never quite. the first night we heard the parties on the beach (which was tolerable what can you do.,) BUT the second night was outstandingly noisy with neighbors doing KARAOKE all night long!!!!! we couldn’t sleep in the main room because of the bugs but we couldn’t sleep in the tiny room because of the noise!! I didn’t know what to do - didn’t want to call the police because the neighbors sounded like violent people and didn’t want to have to deal with THE POLICE on my vacation!! my kid finally after 2 hours managed to sleep and we the adults almost got no sleep. terrible experience all and all.

Lake view

The view of the lake is fabulous and a very usable balcony that faces East and thus is cool in the afternoons. The apartment has everything you need. A water filter with cooler and heater, working oven, stove, washing machine. Parking is free and available at the roadside above (complete with the rubbish bins and many local cats). Safe area and once found is easily reached though currently a lengthy detour by road into Tiberias and out again when coming from the north.

The main bed in the bedroom is a small queen or super single. Cosy but not the best comfort. Building works ongoing below the apartment - some noise and dust. Weekends gets noisier with nearby parties and activities near the beach.

Well organised clean place with good space, nice views and close parking. We did not get to meet the owner but he responded to questions very very promptly and was great at communication. Everything was as described and the layout of the place was delightful.

There were a small number of ants and would have liked a toaster. But, frankly, neither affected our stay in any real way.
