This is by far one of the best stays we have ever experienced!!We love this property! The hosts are on site and quick to respond to messages. This little basement apartment is exactly as it was described. It is super clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything!AND….my husband has thoroughly enjoyed the stand up arcade games in the living room!!Stay here!! You’ll thank me later!!

I really enjoyed my stay at this Anchorage location. It was easy to find, parking was simple, and it’s in a quiet neighborhood with a private entrance.The hosts do live upstairs, but I barely heard them. They’re aware that some noise can carry, so they thoughtfully provide earplugs. Even so, they do a great job of keeping the noise down. Their house rules are simple, clear, and easy to follow.The bed was incredibly comfortable it felt like memory foam and provided a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was outstanding, there was plenty of storage throughout the space, and the kitchenette had everything I needed. There was also a pool table, which I didn’t end up using, but I had a lot of fun playing the arcade games. I managed to claim quite a few high scores, so good luck beating them!My only minor complaint is that the path from the driveway to the private entrance isn’t paved, so rolling luggage was a little difficult. Other than that, I had an excellent stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anchorage.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Clean and well-furnished. Hosts were very polite, informative, and responsive. A number of brochures provided with local tourism information. A pleasant stay.

Check in was simple. The owners are easy going and pleasant to work with. The property is better suited for younger clients. To get into the unit you have to walk down a sloping yard, through a gate in the fence, down more of a slope and steps to the door. It’s not a great situation if the clients are older with even slight mobility issues. The game area and pool table are fine but it takes up half of the living area and there really isn’t anywhere to sit comfortably to watch tv or chat except the bedroom. The kitchen area is very tiny and tight and in need of a few more of the bare necessities you’d find even in say, a Residence Inn. It needs things like a corkscrew , salt and pepper, some serving utensils and glasses. The only way to cook anything is with the microwave so you have to buy ready to eat meals or eat out which is very costly. The unit is in the daylight basement of a home which is fine but we discovered that there is no door separating the two areas. There are only two curtains on the stairway for separation. This does not provide privacy or security for the clients. We were sitting at the table and were able to clearly hear the owners conversation. For the price this is a good place to stay but it needs a few things added.
