Das Haus ist am See gelegen, von den Fenstern hat man einen weiten Blick genießen und können Sie wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge zu bewundern. Das Gebäude wurde komplett im Jahr 1983 renoviert. Die Fenster sind mit Glas 'termopan'. Vollständig möbliert und mit den wichtigsten Geräten. E 'auf drei Ebenen. Die Zimmer sind in den oberen Etagen. Große Küche, Esszimmer ovalen Tisch mit 6 Sitzplätzen und ein Sofa. Großes Badezimmer mit Dusche. Zwei Balkone und ein Abstellraum für Koffer. Es gibt keinen Garten. Die Parkplätze befinden sich in 100m. Das Zentrum Varenna ist ca. 1 Km. Lebensmittelgeschäft und eine Bäckerei in 50m.
E 'mit dem Auto erreichbar, mit dem Zug (Linie Milano C.-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano) + Taxi oder mit der Fähre.
Kiesstrand nur wenige Meter vom Haus.
Möglichkeit, Ausflüge mit dem Boot oder der Fähre nach Bellagio, Menaggio und Como.
Tagesausflüge nach Mailand, Como und Bergamo mit dem Zug.
Besuche in den Gärten der Villa Cypress, Villa Monastero, oder das Schloss von Vezio. Nur wenige Kilometer sind: Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello, die Schlucht von Bellano, Piona Abtei, das Museum Moto Guzzi, das Museum der Rad- und der Fort Fuentes.

We had a great week in Fiumelatte. Franco was so kind, there was milk, vine and beer in the fridge when we arrived and we even got fruits from his garden during the week. The small beach in front of the house was heaven

Our stay at Franco’s house was perfect from start to finish. Our plane was delayed but he waited to meet us. The house was even better than the pictures, the location is perfect the size of the property is great for 5 adults. The lake level room is perfect to store your supplies for a day on the beach and with a toilet and shower it’s perfect to use after a swim in the lake. This visit marked my parents 13th trip to this area so we have stayed in many places. We have booked to go back again next year so that should tell you how wonderful the house and Franco is. He even took us to the train station when we couldn’t get a taxi. He is so helpful, checking in on us via WhatsApp to see if we needed anything and dropped off some fruit fresh from his garden. If you are going to stay anywhere then this should be your first choice.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the house and Franco was very helpful and brought us to the market because there is no market nearby. The market that is mentioned in the ad that is right across the street has been closed for two years now. The house was very clean and right on the lake, which was very nice. The only problem was the walk into town. It is about a 20 minute walk to the beginning of the town, and 30 minutes to the ferry. It's not so much the time it took, but the walk was not pleasant as it is along a very busy street with cars going rather fast and you have to walk single file as there is very little room between you and the cars. At some point during the walk there is no sidewalk. Walking back to the house after dinner in the dark, we would put our phone flashlight on to make sure the cars saw us. I couldn't imagine doing this walk with small children as you can't really hold their hands during the walk as there is not enough room to walk two-by-two. Taxis are not often around either. Other than that, the house was absolutely perfect and Franco was always available to answer any questions.

Well I would just like to share our experience with you all. We recently returned from a trip to Varenna, where we got married at the Villa Cipressi, and stayed just outside in Fiumelatte for the first few days before my family arrived, and then they would take the house over, it was absolutely great and only 10 minute walk into the centre of Varenna, I actually quite enjoyed the walk as the views of the lake were amazing. Frank the owner was so very helpful, he gave us lots of useful information before departure, and even collected us from the train station. The house was very spacious and clean, and had the most amazing views from every room in the house! Frank had arranged for a cot for the baby and a highchair too, and to be honest we didn't need for anything, everything you could possibly need was available. It was great to be able to step out of the house onto the little beach directly below where we swam in the lake, and there was a great little bakery/shop directly opposite where we bought all the essentials.To sum it up in a few words, we would definately stay again, nice, comfortable house in a fantastic location, would recommend to anyone, I'd move in tomorrowGrazie Mille Frank :)Lyndsey
