We absolutely loved our stay at Capanna Suites as part of our honeymoon. Everything was perfect — from our beautiful suite and the stunning views to the wonderful service and peaceful setting. The pool at sunset overlooking the valley was a particular highlight. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy Tuscany. We couldn’t recommend Capanna Suites highly enough!
Our only comment would be regarding the spa access. Guests receive one complimentary one-hour spa session, whereas at many other luxury resorts we have stayed at, spa facilities are available throughout the stay with bookings required. Having more flexible access to the spa would have made an already wonderful experience even better.

the location is beautiful. surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. stunning. the infinity pool is a great way to relax and take in the view. the rooms were big, clean and comfy. and the complementary wine was much appreciated.
the restaurant serving the same minimal menu every night was a bit disappointing. ok if you’re only staying two nights. any longer you’d be disappointed by the lack of choice.

Gorgeous hotel with a stunning view across the valley. Well located in Val d’Orcia with an easy drive to the local towns. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Best hotel feature was relaxing in the infinity pool looking at the incredible view.
There are some very friendly cats that live at the hotel. Although the hotel doesn’t own the cats they should take responsibility for their welfare as one of the cats clearly needs medical treatment.

Lovely location. Restaurant not suitable for the location as not enough variation of food for our length stay.
Had to drive out of property to eat.
Pool area beautiful but not enough shade to sit in area.
Wine fridge goes off when card removed from room when leaving room.
No washing facilities for longer stays.
We travelled with two other couples and paid the same price for our rooms, all three rooms were very different in size and facilities.

"Wunderschöne Anlage in Montalcino mit atemberaubender Aussicht, tollen Zimmern und hervorragendem Service. Wenn beim Abendessen statt des „Fine Dining“ lieber ehrliche, traditionelle italienische Küch..."
