In general the place was fine. Good view and quiet. Safe parking at night. Well appointed with everything you need.

The toilet seat needs replacement and the toilet did not fill automatically 50% of the time. We had to open the lid and release the the cut-off valve manually.

The unit was clean and homely with views that were tranquil, with loads of birdlife in the trees around it.

The house is spacious. There is everything you need to feel at home from cutlery to blankets. The fireplace. The views from the place are to die for. It's closer to everything you need. The owner and the assistant makes you feel welcomed.

The host went out of his way to ensure that my stay was top class. Frans paid great attention to detail. (IE: Ensuring that the parking bay in front of my unit remained clear so as to not obstruct my view of the dam) He contacted me after the first night to find out if there were any complaints whatsoever. (I had no complaints.) The unit that i stayed in was clean and comfortable. I can certainly recommend Thatch View to travellers and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Farie was so friendly and pleasant, the unit was clean. I loved the location as I could look out over the dam during the day and the lights at night. It is also close to all the attractions. I will definitely recommend and go back

The apartment was very Cosy and comty. The view was good. The steep driveway was a bit of a challenge but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Frans is the best host, very friendly and caring took care of all our needs. Real gem of a person.

I loved everything from staff ,accommodation,appliances and the electric blanket was a nice touch. The fact that the owner wasn't around and he checked if was ok every morning made me feel safe . I would definitely recommend that place to everyone 😊
