Communication with Tom was helpful and prompt. We were able to park outside, and it is a very well equipped and decorated little cottage. A nice touch was the welcoming bottle of wine and everything to make tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi was great (handy as I was working from home some days) and we loved the wood burning stove in the evenings. Barnoldswick is a lovely town, with so many independent shops, cafes and pubs, and it is surrounded by magnificent countryside. Highly recommended.

Nothing not to like.

I thought it was more rural being called a cottage. It was a peaceful respite for me. Very warm lovely touch being welcomed by a bottle of wine. Totally recommend this place. Lots of lovely walks near by to do.

The property was immaculate, modern, stylish and had everything we wanted. Very pleased that there was an Alexa and equally pleased with a teapot and cosy…I love tea!! A short walk from Pickles Cottage was Mario’s Italian Restaurant, which we loved, reasonably priced and serving excellent food. It also has the added bonus of the theatrical owner Mario, an experience not to be missed! What was also a real plus about the property was the central location of Barnoldswick to areas of interest, we had days out to Sedbergh, Hawes, Kirby Lonsdale, Grassington, Skipton and to Settle and went on the famous railway to Appleby. We had a fabulous break and would like to thank Tom and his partner for the prompt responses and comprehensive information sheet.

Nothing, in terms of information I suppose could mention the steep stairs. But we fully expected that and I have ‘clapped out’ knees and coped! Also it is a feature of the buildings in that area.

Location good fot hoing to other places to visit

I found the shower was not cleaned properlyy as when we used it thr water was coming over tray it was blocked with dirt and hairs

Ideal base for exploring the local area from Pendle Hill to Blackpool and The Forest of Bowland to Gawthorpe Hall. Fab cottage, very clean and very comfortable. Lovely place to relax after busy days out.

There was nothing to dislike

A sweet little cottage with modern facilities. The location was perfect for us and we could come and go as we pleased. The hosts were very helpful in the run up to our stay, providing lots of information. Very clean, comfortable and cosy accommodation which suited our needs perfectly.

Great size property, spacious practical kitchen, living room comfortable. Great double bed, had great sleep. Bathroom was good , hot shower. Could not fault the place. Big thank you to the owner tom.
