The setting of the accommodation was so peaceful and it was nice to get back to it after the craziness of some of the places in Cornwall. The accommodation was spotless and the hosts were helpful and friendly.

The lock box was easy to open once you found where to go. Good knives and pots and pans, clean, bright.

The amount of stairs wasn't clear in the listing, 2 flights to the bedroom plus 3 more to the bathroom. The lounge (not like the listing)was covered in a dust cover like you would put down for grubby children, not paying guests. The listing indicates there was a terrace with lake views and an outdoor dining option, none of which we saw. It also indicated there was 'chocolate or cookies' to enjoy...none were found.The bed is a double and perhaps this is normal for the British but not what an overseas traveller would expect..very small.

Beautifully presented Annex to a very impressive house and grounds. Quality furnishings throughout with plenty of home comforts. A real gem of a place at an extremely reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

The tranquility, the lovely natural garden, sweeping lawns, big trees & little lake, the clean, tidy, modern apartment, comfy big bed and very well equipped kitchen. Perfect in every way.

A perfect location to relax and attune all your senses... Far enough away from the crowds to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, but not too far from lively places such as Newquay. Helpful and welcoming hosts providing every necessity in a very comfortable homely space, just a stones throw from the rugged Cornish coast

The setting of the property is amazing. The property itself is outstanding- clean, comfortable, cozy and well designed. It has everything you need.

How clean and cosy it was. The hosts were in touch regularly beforehand. Not overpriced like a lot of properties so will definitely book again and recommend to friends.

The only thing I can think of would have been to be able to control the heating myself.

Both the accomodation and allied facilities were of a very high standard . The countryside hideaway location served to enhance our stay.

Some may find the narrow country roads leading to and from the property somewhat off-putting.

Nice secluded valley. Property very well finished with everything you need. The Lounge is spacious and very airy. The Bedroom is above on a mezzanine with the bathroom. Excellent water pressure on the shower. To find the property you need to trust the directions or Sat Nav. Its on a very twisty lane down by the river ford. St Columb Major is about 10 mins away. Plenty of shops there or in Newquay.

The internet was playing up and very slow, but this could have been an ISP issue as it was fine some times during the day.

it was a lovely place to stay right off the beaten track but beautiful wildlife in garden the Annexe was a cosy and very clean place just was not that keen on Newquay itself

A little bit too out of the way. WiFi a bit hit-and-miss.

The location was beautiful and the surround was brilliant the house and gardens was picturesque. A fantastic location and near to the place we wanted to be. 5 * all around well equipped but only used kettle and toaster but it was there to use if required

The only challenging thing was the country lanes you had to drive down, after a short time the roads seemed to get wider and all part of the experience and got to be pleasurable to drive in time.

Property was immaculate, everything was thought of to make the stay comfortable & enjoyable, could not fault a thing. Hosts were welcoming, but left you alone. Location was quite remote, but we liked that, it was nice to be away from busy Newquay, especially during Boardmasters!

We cannot think of 1 thing...... maybe that we couldn't extend our stay!!
