Hotel Abaco Altea

Situated a short stroll to the Church square, old town, beach, shops and local supermarkets, the hotel and apartments are ideally located to make the most of your stay. Spotlessly clean and providing of everything you might need to either self cater or simply enjoy your holiday. The balcony is surrounded by a beautiful climbing evergreen, that affords privacy and during the balmy evenings and early mornings, your tea or coffee will be enhanced by the jasmine down below. All the facilities are first class- you literally will want for nothing. The kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable bed, sofa, lounger chair and a powerful shower to top it by off! Worth also noting that the hotel staff are lovely, as was the welcome cava and beer for my wife and I.

Nothing to dislike.

Das kleine Hotel liegt am Fuße des Berges zur Altstadt. In 5-10min Reichtweite sind viele Restaurants und kleine Shops rund um die Kirche im Zentrum der Altstadt. 10min Fußweg zum nahegelegenen Strand mit Bars und Strandliegen.

We received a warm welcome from the staff, and had an excellent breakfast.

The pillows were a bit stiff

Beautifully decorated, spacious room, fabulous shower! The location was central for both the old town and the sea front. Breakfast was superb. Staff were welcoming, friendly helpful and professional. We had a lovely stay at Hotel Ábaco and really enjoyed the character and atmosphere of the hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble and recommendations for local eateries were spot on.

The only small thing we would mention is that we would have liked the towels and bed linen changed a little more regularly. They were changed whenever we asked, so it wasn’t a problem at all, but it would have been nice if this happened a little more often without having to ask. There was a charge for changing which I hadn’t fully realised when I booked.
