The view, the indoor pool, the size of the unit

We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view, and the bed was very comfortable. The only small issue was the number of pillows. We had requested additional ones, but as our unit was quite far from reception, we ended up with only two, whereas we would have preferred two pillows per person. The main area that could be improved is the general maintenance of the property. Outside our unit, there were paint cans, a ladder, and other materials, even though no work was taking place during our stay. The units are also somewhat outdated and would benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment. This would make a significant difference, particularly after the summer season. At the moment, some areas look more worn than charmingly old, and with some attention they could be made much more attractive and welcoming. Breakfast was adequate, but we felt it could have been more personalized. There were only six guests staying at the property, yet everything had already been prepared when we arrived, and several items were cold. The fried eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, and other dishes were already sitting out. Since we arrived well before 10 a.m. and there were so few guests, it would have been lovely to have some of the hot items prepared closer to the time they were actually going to be eaten. These may seem like small details, but addressing them would make the experience feel much more personal and special. The property has a lot of potential, and with some attention to maintenance and a few thoughtful touches at breakfast, the overall experience could be considerably improved.

It was very quiet when we went. Very few people were there. But it had nothing to do about the property itself.

Durch die Höhenlage ist es hier auch im Hochsommer nicht zu heiss. Es ist ein Ort der Ruhe und Stille. Das lichtvolle Wesen im Spabereich war extrem Hilfsbereit und hat meine Frau mit ihren Heilkuensten umgehend von ihren heftigen Kopfschmerzen befreit.

Leider war, entgegen der Angabe bei Bookoing.com: "Das Restaurant ist waehrend ihre Aufenthaltes geoeffnet". dieses eben geschlossen. So sollte man mit Gaesten nicht umgehen. Das Fruehstueck war o.k. bis auf die geizige Kaffeemaschine. Wenn sie eine normale Portion Cappuccino moechten sollte sie die entsprechende Taste einfach 4x druecken.

We loved the room and the view.

The distance from the town center was not accurate. It was closer to 2.5 km and not an easy walk at all. Parking is difficult in town so we thought we would be able to walk. We thought there would be breakfast, but couldn’t find anything on the premises in the morning and there was no-one in hospitality. Maybe a better venue in the summer when it’s busier.
