As usual, everything at the Arabella were excellent and worth every cent! We will do this again very soon!

There was really nothing to complain about.

Die Golfanlage war gepflegt und die Zimmer waren sehr sauber.

Die Zimmer sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einbauten und alles sind sehr abgenutzt und altbacken. Das Restaurant fühlt sich an wie in den 70er Jahren. Alles ist braun und mit Teppich.Das Essen bestand aus nur 15 Gerichten, die mittags und abends genau gleich waren. Insgesamt wenig Abwechslung. Zum Zeitpunkt unserer Reise war das Hotel sehr sehr leer. Trotzdem hat der Service in der Lounge und im Restaurant ewig gedauert sodass wir teilweise lieber essen aufs Zimmer bestellt haben damit man nicht eine Stunde warten muss. Ingesamt ein ganz durchschnittliches Hotel aber definitiv nicht den Preis wert und definitiv keine 5 Sterne wert!!

Water in indoor pool not warm enough

Breakfast selection was excellent.

Staff didn't attend timeously to coffee requests at breakfast. Hydropool wasn't a great temperature, water felt slimey and was green in colour and contained some chemicals that didn't smell pleasant. Spa is outdated and ridiculously expensive. Activities are costly at 5 star prices, however this is a 3.5 star hotel in my humble opinion.

Great golf course and golf staff. ‘Godwin’ barman excellent.

As my wife told the reception desk staff, they need to have more of a ‘can do’ attitude NOT ‘can’t do as hotel policy’!

Loved the location, breakfast, the spa and the general facilities. The spa staff are beyond amazing, I was absolutely impressed by how well managed it is, and how professional they are. The treatments were also phenomenal. The breakfast was great too. Great selection, fresh and well prepared.

I was disappointed in the level of staff professionalism (besides the spa), and general helpfulness for a 5-star hotel. I was stuck trying to make an additional reservation at the spa and tried to phone the reception desk for assistance and their response was simply, "keep trying to get through." Not to sound like a snob, but surely this level of hotel would have tried to get hold of the spa and return the call or make the reservation for me? We were also very disappointed in the room service - incredible bland meals (except the creme brulee - that was perfection). The cleaning staff also left much to be desired. We were left with almost no toilet paper, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, and we had to call reception to replenish a few items (coffee, slippers etc). I hope this is a once-off issue but unfortunately, we were disappointed for the level of the hotel.
