Spacious apartment, with beautiful furniture.

Poor hygiene! The carpet gives out the heavy, musty odor. The furniture needs revamping, very beautiful pieces, but laden with dust.

Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

The size of the room, quiet. Close to everything. Very helpful staff.

Location

Good location. In the hub but not rowdy. Very spacious rooms - we booked a family apartment, and a double room. Great for kids to play. Heated towel rails. Kitchenette with microwave.

Arrived at hotel around 11:00. I understand that rooms were not yet ready, but reception staff refused to at least check us in. Her explanation was that it will cause confusion with the incoming shift at 14h00. I’ve never heard such a thing before. They both subsequently checked in other guests whilst my family waited in the reception foyer? Several things were broken/faulty in our room: hand held shower, electronic safe, handle on cupboard door (very small type of handle, so it was very difficult to open, and safe was in that cupboard), control panel for air conditioning- literally falling apart. As a result a/c repeatedly switched off. Cleaning staff was terrible, did a superficial tidy up only at lightening speed. Did not vacuum mop or sweep. She used a single rag to wipe everything which left a terrible odour afterwards - like when a rag has not been washed and dried thoroughly before use. Also noticed that the housekeeping staff never knocked but literally just opened the door and walked right in.

It was nice and relaxing and staff was friendly .

Hotel is close to the mall

Breakfast must have lots variety like mince and oatmeal

The lounge area with the tv ..the.kitchen with a fridge and microwave and kettle was so convenient for me ..i also liked the balcony area with the table and chairs ..the open plan tub and shower was great as well

I think perhaps a bath scrub would have been the cherry on the top

The location though is good

The 1st room they put us in the aircon was blowing hot air The 2nd room, the shower was going to break anytime soon. The bedding had a musty smell & the corridor leading to our room had a very foul odor, but we were too tired to complain again and move to another room. We expected a buffet breakfast, but we were given a menu to order from with very few options.

The place was neat, spacious and i loved all the finishes . The entire atmosphere was amazing.the 3 bedroom penthouse felt like home for 5 nights. Price was reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Not a major issue, but a pool with a bar or lounge area to chill outside your room would be nice and give it some entertainment.

After the 1st night and speaking to Thando about the bed. She had arranged to put a top quilt which is thicker and holds the two single beds together, so when you sleep you wont get hurt by the centre ridge. It was Thando that followed up with me. And got things done, the staff, reception, house keeping and porters are so warm and friendly. It would be nice if the rooms had an actual head board than 2 cushions at the back that kept falling/moving.

I wouldhv liked more communication from the head of bookings sarie when problems arosed. Instead of she calking ne i tried calling her and she did nit get back to me as promised. But by then Thando had been liasing with me. A suggestion for senior management to atleast do a walk about to assess the rooms. Eg mildew on the shower tiles can be seen.

The rooms are big. The staff is very friendly. Great location. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was also ok. We will definitely be coming back.

He carpet needs attention.It needs thorogh cleaning or to be change altogether
