Beautiful Hotel, Italian in style. Rooms were lovely, very clean. All reviews about the breakfast are true, so much to choose from. Staff were attentive , polite and extremely professional. A special Thankyou to Guillermo on reception. Thankyou Mongibello

Breakfast wasn’t good

Beautiful design hotel, super friendly staff and excellent breakfast, food and cocktails. A shout out to Elphi on the front desk. Loved the tributes to the islands icons 🧡

As a 5 star hotel there are a couple of things they should consider that you’d expect. Baggage help on arrival and a welcome drink. Also the sea view double rooms are not all full sea view, some are partial. They should consider pricing these differently to other sea view rooms. We paid for an upgrade on arrival to a suite sea view as we weren’t happy with our partial sea view double room. The difference in rooms is significant.

Breakfast was very good - quite a good choice of food.

On the night we arrived, we were given a top floor room which had a aircon supply unit on the wall outside the balcony which was extremely noisy and we could not get to sleep. We phoned reception who semt up the maintenance man who agreed that it was extremely noisy and that someone else had complained before us. We asked to be moved but were told that no rooms were available. After a sleepless night, we went down to reception at 7am to complain and we were given another room immediately which seemed strange that it wasn't available at 1.30am. We were not impressed that we had to spend the night without sleep after only arriving at the hotel just before midnight when we had paid 400 euro for the room. We complained in the morning and thought that we would at least have been offered to be re-imbursed, to be told that because we paid via booking.com, they didn't have an option to re-imburse. They subsesquently offered a late check out and a 30 euro to be spent on food or beverages in the hotel. We were also given a mini bottle of prosecco which we found quite insulting. We had chosen this expensive hotel as it was our 20th wedding anniversary so you can appreciate that we were not happy. We would probably not choose to book through booking.com ever again as it looks like we have to take the issue up with you and the hotel doesn't seem to care and are dismissive of our complaint and say that we need to take it up with booking,ocm.
