Hotel Bell Repos

Loved this place. Close to the beach. A really nice locally owned business. Do a great job at breakfast, some of the baked goods are in house made. Very accommodating staff. Some spoke English and made it really easy to find out about good places to eat, and explain about there green efforts in running a hotel. Great job. H

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral (trotzdem ruhig) und man ist in 3 Minuten am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig, es gibt eine tolle Auswahl und man freut sich jeden Morgen darauf! Besonders positiv: es gibt Sonnenschirme, die ausgeliehen werden können (ohne Pfand); am Ende des Strandtages stellt man sie wieder zurück - fertig! Ich habe schon sehr viele Hotels in Playa besucht, dass habe ich noch nirgends erlebt. Der Außenbereich ist sehr einladend, es gibt viele Pflanzen und das Ambiente ist sehr schön.

Perfect location and great staff!

The hotel was reasonably priced considering we went during the month of August, as in high season. The garden and terrace are very nice, but the online photos are a little misleading as the garden is right next to a road where cars and motorcycles drive late at night, with loud music on or revving their engines. Not really the oasis of peace I had imagined. The room was large with a big terrace which was great.

I was disappointed to be offered air conditioning at an extra cost of 20 euros a night. I was not prepared to pay an additional cost I had not been forewarned about so I stuck with the non air conditioned room. The room was nice and big,. but we had to sleep with the patio doors open because of the heat, which made for a very noisy nights sleep. I had to go to a pharmacy to buy ear plugs which helped.
