Dog friendly, a varied breakfast assortment. Lovely bread, pancakes, meat, cheeses and condiments. A stunning setting by the sea. The staff were friendly.

For some reason I had not received the information as how to get into the room and stood outside around 22:20 for about 15 minutes before I managed to get help to get in. Also, it felt slightly exaggerated to have so much cctv in the breakfast area. I thought €17.50 was a tad too much to pay for the dog. The sausages were tasteless.

Room was pretty standard, it had a double bed and was reasonably sized. The bed was a little soft for my taste but was clean and tidy. Decent TV with the various channels. There are a couple of supermarkets within a very short walking distance - the beaches were very sandy and lovely and there is a great off-leash dog beach within about a 10 minute walk to the north. Perfect for my spoilt water-lovely pooch. I might stay again if the price is right - I felt it was a little high but it was mid high-season so expected. Decent little cafe's and restaurants within a very short walk - and the casino (if that's your thing) is about a 10 minute stroll along the promenade. Very basic little town and could certainly do with an upgrade but there are beautiful old buildings in between the ugly 1970's blocks. it seems like they are trying to upgrade but it will take a few years for a turnaround. Staff were absolutely lovely and friend but were not super when I phoned to book, saying it was full so I booked through booking.com very last minute. Smooth transaction and easy to park (pay parking just outside). They were not at all concerned

The hairdryer in the room did not work, no aircon (it was super hot) and the provided fan had seen much better days and was super noisy. I didn't try breakfast but it looked decent. The toilets could do with a deep clean and the vents in the bathroom had lots of visible dust. Maybe a regular clean would make it more palatable.
