Scandic Royal Stavanger

Location great, room size great and bar food good when open

Road works outside so too digits drive into. No warning this was the case prior to booking. Bar and restaurant not open on Sundays. The reception asked what we wanted regarding cleaning our room and placed our request in the computer for the room service people but it was not done. Had to ask the first evening as they’d not done the cleaning so they quickly emptied the bins and gave us new towels. The second day / night it was not done at all. Too much reliance on computers and not enough personal attention.

Brilliant hotel, not many with a swimming pool, sauna, location is nice, a 5 minute away from the busy areas. Parking wasnt available due to roadworks, but i guess hotel had no control over that. Would book again. Breakfast was really good.

I am a gym guy, i would have like a bit more balanced equipment, but atleast they had some weights.

The room was nice, with the main bed being comfortable. The pool was great, although a shame the hot tub wasn’t working.

Breakfast was good when it was quiet but awful on busy days. Needed way more staff cleaning tables and replenishing food. Housekeeping needed huge improvements too, had to ask 3 time for a bed for my son, no shower gel in the room when we arrived, glasses not cleaned etc

Zentrale Lage.
