Central location, large well furnished roof balconies and a very supportive team both prior to and during our wonderful stay….

Absolutely nothing !!

The location was pretty much perfect. We were met locally and shown to the property, with grocery and restaurants indicated. The property was well equipped, comfortable, well air conditioned. Simply, a nice place to be

Nowt

The location is brilliant. Great transport links but also easy to walk everywhere as well. The local square round the corner is a treat, lovely bars to watch the world go by. Not busy at all. The actual apartment is beautiful, with the sound of the boats going past and the gorgeous marble staircase and painted ceilings. Just how you would envisage a Venetian apartment to be like.

Nothing. (Apart from a few mosquitoes!)

It was easy. The location is great. We walked from the train station and loved walking around the canals to restaurants and to get the water taxis.

I booked the apartment based on the photos of the balcony overlooking the canal and chairs on it. However, we did not have a balcony, only windows. I saw one small balcony out our window but it was so small I don't see how it could have matched the photos on the site. I messaged the owner, and they said they normally will text a renter if they receive an apartment without a balcony and let me know that they didn't do this with us. Also, I understand that they're going for "authentic Roman decor" but really the upholstery was just old and I wondered how clean it was. We stayed in other apartments during our visit through Italy that were going for the same vibe, and I felt they were cleaner than the comforter and chairs in this unit. The beds were ROCK HARD. Even a pillowtop could have helped.
