nothing

Nothing unfortunately.
Definitely not value for money- there were barely any facilities there, didn’t have a lift, very basic and on top of that- had to pay for parking as well. Moreover it looked very different from the images on the website- which was disappointing. Felt like a waste of money, so unfortunately will not be booking again to stay here.

Room very small and also has smell of fresh paint.
Not good at insolation of noises.

Good location and room did have air conditioning. Comfy bed. Had a car park. Good value, but you do get what you pay for.
Quite a small room. Had to pay for parking. No lift. Had to use a plastic stirrer to switch the bathroom light off but I did report this in the morning.

Excellent location.
There was no bar or restaurant so it was not possible to have breakfast there.

We only stayed for a quick pitstop on a road trip. The receptionist was nice, room was as expected and we could park outside
One of the lamps wasn't working in the room and the windows could have been bigger

Strangely, the retro feel, but nevertheless comfortable.
No lift, no real breakfast.

A very comfortable bed. Everything was very clean.
Being met at reception with a "welcome to the Piccadilly Hotel, that will be £10 for the car park please".
No staff on reception after 10, no bar, no water in the room, very limited supply of tea bags and coffee. Just 2 of each.
Very good shower. But the shower screen was so close to the toilet I was wedged in at an angle .
It would have been better if we were told that there was a party in the ballroom that night. It ended at 11 but we did not know that.

Location
The overall cost - one nights stay in a double room with no breakfast but having to pay extra for parking - even after discount on booking.com it still cost £119.00 and this is not even for 24 hours.

Location is impeccable. Just few mins walk to the city center where has lots of shops and restaurants.
The family room was a bit small but enough for us with two young children.
Just the toilet is a bit old and has no ventilation.

The hotel is worthy of the Fawlty Towers Award. It was quite hilarious. They had been very helpful when I contacted them requesting that our room be one with a bath. On arrival, we were given a door keycard. But when we got to the third floor room, our room did not have a bath. I walked down to reception (no lifts). Oh, of course, so sorry. This new room was on the first floor. So, I walked up and retrieve my wife and our bags and went to the first floor. Hmmm, I said, a keycard but the door only has a keyhole! So, back to reception. Oh dear, so sorry, here's the key. Third time lucky.
As for the room, well it had a bath. It had been renovated fairly recently, but definitely on the cheap with domestic style formica type wall panels in the bathroom. The room had a bit of a splash of paint, but was again reminiscent of a 1960-70s country hotel. Pleasant enough, but I have stayed in B&Bs in small towns with better fittings, breakfast included, and half the price. But I suppose that's Bournemouth in the early summer.
