Nothing , it was perfect for our needs

Very nice comfy bed and clean room. Amazing view. Helpful staff. About 20 min walk to Crickhowell village.

No major downsides. The full English breakfast was fairly small

Staff are cheerful and helpful. The few staff I came across were multi tasking and always keen to be of service (though one always felt that the place was understaffed). Location was good for my needs. Accommodation is not luxurious but the rooms are a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast food was okay. I didn't have an evening meal because I felt the prices were too high for what was on offer. Bar prices were reasonable and not over inflated as they can be in other hotels. Large car park.

The property is very tired and needs refreshing. Carpets are worn and badly fitted in parts. Doors and locks don't fit properly. One of the ceiling lights in my bathroom above the bath/shower was hanging out of its retaining socket. The Steam Room was out of order for the duration of my two day stay...and it is in very poor condition, as it was the last time I stayed there. The sauna is also old and in need of a replacement, it is small with room for 3 adults sitting, no more. The leisure facility doesn't have dedicated staff and so the rules - some signposted on walls etc - are simply ignored by users (like removing outdoor footwear before entering the pool area.....people just ignored the signs and headed across the pool area to the changing rooms).
