The scenery as it was near the beach. Very relaxing

I requested for a seaview window when i booked it but we were given toom At the back. One drawer was a bit briken not sliding properly

Reception staff were fantastic , very polite and always got a hello and a good morning , Restaurant staff were also great and a 100% spot on .

There was nothing not to like the whole time there was a pleasure . Banter with reception staff from myself was greeted with a smile .

A special shout out to Callum who was extremely helpful and professional. Gave us notice of when areas were likely to be busy and was just genuinely a lovely person. The hotel was extremely family friendly and the little extras of bedtime milk and cookies was very sweet. The room was cleaned daily and teas, water and biscuits topped up. We had room envy for those with a sea view so will definitely ask for this when we come back. Overall a lovely hotel, great staff and a relaxing time away.

Some dog owners needed to be better behaved but this isn't down to the hotel staff. Allowing dogs to constantly yap and bark is not great! We were room only but had breakfast on one day. The restaurant had been really busy and the staff were struggling to keep up with the demand so extra staff wouldn't have been beneficial (The waitress did say they were short staffed). No complaints but felt sorry for them.

The property had everything you needed for a break away, cinema pool table kids play area, restaurant. It was clean and tidy On arrival we had no parking at all not even on the road it took us around 2 hours to get a parking spot after checking in we didn’t know you could reserve spots outside this wasn’t clear when we booked . We were asked to pay £100 deposit for two days which we get back at the end of the stay, which we should of been told before or including in the price so you can budget for this as I think £100 is a lot if you mainly carry cash to budget. The room was clean but I think for 4starts they are extremely dated and worn. When we booked a family room we didn’t expect to share two single beds and other a sheet over. I’m pregnant and my son likes to get in the bed with us so I had a very uncomfortable night sleep in the gap of the bed. The pillows are not soft at all I found them quite hard to be honest. The view from your hotel room is the best thing you can see on your stay it’s absolutely beautiful. Pool area is over crowded and so basic with no security cameras or lifeguards. The sauna is 50•c so pointless really. The jacuzzi’is tiny and was a shade of yellow probably from children urinating in. The main pool is very cold and could do with more heating it’s also got a slope going to the deep part so not confrotable to stand in at all. The staff are extremely slow it took us 45 mins to get a hot chocolate a cocktail and a normal glass with ice When checking in for breakfast you have to have a set time if your late they don’t let you have breakfast. I’ve never been to a hotel where you have to book a time for breakfast considering the place isn’t that busy it doesn’t really make sense. The breakfast choices are limited really with really runny scrambled egg that you couldn’t eat. We also had to wait ages to be seated for breakfast. The hotel was clean tidy and lots of great facilities overall. I wouldn’t stay again.
