The location The ease of checking in. Comfortable bed. Clean sheets and towels. Friendly staff.
No soap and the toilet roll holder wasn’t secure. Both minor picky bits

Good location for town and train station
The rooms and property is a bit shabby and in room curtain rail needed replacing and the radiator in bathroom didn’t work

Good rate which included breakfast
Cooked breakfast which was plentiful, and delicious!
Great staff, friendly, showed us to our room and very polite
We had problem with radiator but the maintenance man was very quick to respond to the situation
Bed was very comfortable and the sheets were spotless
Room a bit tired looking
Radiator was set on full heat and room was like a sauna had to open door and window but maintenance man was quick to come and turn it off.
We were over the road from the main hotel, not a problem for us as not raining but could be a problem for others.
Arrived at 8pm had to park on main road which is permit parking during the day as car park was full of work vans but we did eventually manage to get a spot.

Only had one towel
Had to ask for English breakfast tea bags for the room and at breakfast. It could be a really nice place to stay,. Some fruit and pastry choices at breakfast would be a good option too.
