Hare and Hounds - Newbury

Everything. From start to finish, the whole experience was exceptional. What really impressed us was the staff. We felt completely relaxed within seconds of arriving in their extremely competent hands.

That we only stayed one night.

Nice walk in to town, lovely decor, rooms comfortable, food good.

Road if on the front is a little noisy.

We not been in a while and it was great to be back been going here many years now we travel from Caerphilly location is great the pub is absolutely beautiful mix of old school modern lovely staff food seems to have gone up a notch burger I had was the best I've ever tasted...wife had the chicken/gammon pie and that was 10/10 thanks for having us be back soon

It's quite noisey floor in room needed a good hoover

Location very convenient for us as very near to our daughter

We have stayed here many times and although the rooms are small have always enjoyed our stay but never before have we been allocated a room on the second floor of the main building which is accessed by very narrow and uneven stairs which I found difficult to negotiate with and without luggage and almost fell. The room (6) was in the eaves, and it was difficult to use the bathroom without banging your head, you had to be very careful in the bedroom too. There is no warning on the door leading to the stairs that they are uneven and to be careful, or on the website that the rooms in the main building are difficult to access. I will remember in future to request a ground floor room
