Charlotte House Hotel

Superior Suite was a very spacious, comfortable room. The staff were amazing - very helpful and friendly. Tasteful decoration of the lounge/bar space and the corridors. Very quiet. Very close to Lincoln Castle and has a huge parking next to the hotel (not free however). Continental breakfast was nice and you could have a cooked option from the cafe opposite easily if wanted. The place is run by a local coffee company and the hotel has a cafe right opposite to it (we didn’t have a chance to visit but looked nice). Actually there is a protected building which used to be a Victorian asylum on the same site, and reading about the history was really interesting to us. Also on the other side of the carpark, there is a very pleasant community garden space - The John Dawber Garden - named after an influential brewery owner who donated a huge amount of money to support the local people in need.

Nothing - but when we booked the Superior Suite we couldn’t see any photos of the room. Would be good to see some uploaded.

Continental breakfast was good. Location brilliant for Castle, Cathedral and historic city. Do bear in mind, it is at the top of Steep Hill !!!

Staff were good. Nice comfy bed, water nice and hot, when available! Good location

Breakfast gluten free was catered for, but choice generally was the same everyday, there was different yogurts the first day but never seen again. It would have been helpful to have dirty dishes removed from breakfast table rather than have to look for somewhere to put them
