A lovely, welcoming hotel full of character, offering a truly authentic English experience. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Downstairs, there is a wonderful pub and restaurant, with the best risotto I’ve ever had!
The hosts were friendly, We highly recommend this charming hotel!

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good and served hot. The pub had a great vibe for locals and tourists on a Friday evening. We enjoyed the rural setting for walks.
The room was hot and decor (Rugs and Carpets) stained. Ran out of hot water in morning.

Lovely clean property, with super staff.
Nice location, lovely food.
Bed was super comfy. Only thing that impacted our sleep was that another guest had a radio on throughout the night - this was heard in our room and kept us awake unfortunately

Nice country pub
We were allocated one if the second floor bedrooms for our stay, but conditions were not great due to the current heat-wave. We were provided with a fan, but this did not have the capacity to cool the room sufficiently during the current extreme conditions - I don’t think this would have been an issue under “normal” conditions.
