Nice location with great views from the front bedrooms. Clan and comfortable room.

One or two of the staff could have been a bit more helpful! No irons in the rooms which was disappointing.

The staff made it special. Professional, helpful, courteous and genuine. They went that extra mile.

Beautiful location in lovely period setting and room with a view overlooking the bay. Evening meal was lovely in the conservatory restaurant that has stunning views over the bay. Likewise a lovely breakfast

Nothing not to like

The oom was a good size, and I already knew we would be facing inland. The dining room had a splendid outlook, and the breakfast was excellent. The parking and position of the hotel was first-rate. The water pressure very good. The hotel is agreeably dog-friendly since our visiting friend has a dog.

I was expecting an old-world, traditional hotel room but the brown furniture was cheap, the pictures awful (I took one down for the duration of our stay!), and the bathroom pokey. I had to reach behind a flimsy cupboard to access a plug to re-charge my phone. Where was the 'Grand Old Lady' of Tobermoray? Missing in action, I fear. The management is efficient and polite, but the decoration of the hotel is deficient of good taste. Unfortunately our room didn't smell good, but it was very clean so this may have related to the last incumbents and wasn't the hotel's fault.
