Hotel Plas Hyfryd

Clean had a car park

Staff on the phone were nice and made special arrangement last minute and out of hours. The staff at time of check out was not friendly

The staff were excellent, polite and friendly. The bar and dining area were nicely decorated and comfortable, felt very homely. Room 8 was nice and cosy with more than enough drink supplies (Water, tea, coffee, milks). The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was amazing with great service. We have said we will stay again at some point within the next few months but will try a different room.

The bathroom door was missing a handle on the inside so couldn't close the folding door fully. The mattress felt very soft maybe even a bit worn, not sure which but of course each persons preferences are different when it comes to firm or soft mattress so we just prefer a harder mattress so not a great sleep but again the hotel can't keep both mattresses for customers to choose. Also there was constant electrical humming/buzzing sound from coming from somewhere. We turned off all electric sockets and it continued through the evening and night and was still constant in the morning so not sure where that was coming from. Finally there was a bad smell which smelt a bit like drains coming out of the bathroom.

Room was comfortable and the breakfast really good. An ideal location for exploring Narberth and the surrounding area.

Convenient as we were at an event there

Rooms far too hot we did manage to borrow a fan but other guests at the party could not and we very uncomfortable. All rooms need fans in this warm weather I realise you cannot retro fit air con but it will prevent us staying again.
