The staff were very welcoming and helpful from reception through to staff in restaurants and around the pool. Room was fabulous, spacious, lovely views and clean. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in.

It is quite a walk from some of the rooms to the restaurant and main swimming pool area so you're reliant on calling for a buggy especially at night. That said the buggy arrived promptly when you did need one. There wasn't a mirror near a power supply to use hair straightners.

Room could do with tlc, veneer coming off cupboard doors etc,wash basin cracked and a bit shabby, house keeping didn't come till 5 in the evening then didn't empty bins, a bit pricy for what it was, also paid more than when I booked

The food was perfect at the breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool was nice enough. The parking was free and close to the building with room.

But underground parking was not close to our building. We lived far from swimming pool. It was long way by car to reception from our building. The room on the second floor with a very small balcony, where a table and chairs could barely fit, did not make much impression. But the room wasn't too bad either. Could have been better.

The personal is so nice, and the place is really beautiful!

The location is pristine- free parking, so close to Praia de Rocha, and the property is nice (especially the large pool).

Our room had a messed up bathroom door- the frame was all swelled up and the door did not close at all. Another minus was that the breakfast was exactly the same for two days so it might be an issue for some one. :)

Not so much we didn’t like it but we just thought breakfast could have been a bit more varied - same options daily. Pool bar is expensive. Walls are quite thin too - hear everything.

Beautiful location looking over the marina (or some rooms at the pool). Large room with good facilities. Easy walk to many restaurants. Covered parking available .

Hotel is very spread out which could be an inconvenience. Buggy shuttle available for those who needed it

1. Breakfast was superb (wide range; coooked; inside/outside) 2. Large (Super King) bed in a large room. 3. Location is few minutes walk to bars/restaurants and to the famous Praia Rocha beach 4. Boardwalk along the beach with many restaurants.

Location of rooms (16 + 29) were over the far (northern) side of the marina, and needed a 10 min walk to reception (or a phone call to request the electric buggy). Reception claimed that no rooms were available in the central block (round the pool + restaurant) yet the hotel didn't seem that full. If I went back to the hotel I would insist on a central room, close to reception.

We stayed in Room 181. We planned our trip to allow us to pack light and spend a few hours doing laundry in the middle of our two-week trip. We had found a facility in town on Google Maps that was about a half mile walk each way, but we asked a staff member about getting to it, and he gave us detailed directions to s facility that was on site that was a much shorter walk (this is a very large resort), had more machines, and was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Kudos to the man who helped us, and a question to the hotel as as to why they don't include this information in their online listing on Booking. The bath sheets and towels were plush - not far from being brand new. The room had a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. It had a well-equipped kitchenette, that we didn't use, but could prove handy for those who wanted to dine in.

The mattress. For such a nice resort, they sure could use an upgrade on their bedding. We both woke up with hip pain from the coils in the thin mattress. A replacement is long overdue. The trash can in the kitchen was one of those small, partitioned ones where you can separate your recycle from paper from food. The only problem is that it is far too small. Two crushed soda cans filled the recycle quadrant up, and a few papers filled up another one. While the idea of addressing recycling is nice, providing a better implementation method would be better. I hesitate to think what would happen if someone actually used the kitchenette for food preparation. There would be no place for the trash! The door to the patio needs maintenance. The doors are heavy, likely for noise suppression, and after opening one side, we couldn't close it!. All we could do was LIFT the door slightly off the track and pull it as far closed as we could, then open the other side, brace against the doorframe, and PUSH IT CLOSED WITH BOTH FEET! It seems pretty obvious to me that the door innards have been corroded by the prevalent salty air, and need some lithium grease or other lubrication that will allow the heavy door to be oopened and closed without resorting to such brute force. The room could only by climbing a long staircase, which for someone with a bad knee (like me) created a struggle, but since each unit opens to the outside, so there was no other option.
