Well-located, friendly staff, nice rooftop restaurant and great breakfast.

The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, but way too small (compared to other 4-star hotels I've stayed in). Not much of a big deal, but you may be surprised.

We were woken at 8am with construction workers removing a window from the next door guest room. It was like being on a building site. Nobody had mentioned that this would happen when we checked in. Otherwise we would not have stayed. Guest service management were very apologetic but it spoiled our experience at what was otherwise a good hotel.

Location is great, and you'll be within walking distance from most of Lisbon's attractions and best neighborhoods. The staff is very helpful with giving directions, helping with calling taxis and they have valet service and garage if you rent a car (additional cost). The hotel is everything you'd expect from a 4-star hotel and my experience was great.

You may find that the rooms are slightly smaller compared to other hotels I stayed at. The tiny elevators allow for 4-5 people max, which means you may be better off using the stairs to get to your room/lobby if you're at the lowers floors.

The cleaning, you has to ask to have your room cleaned. We did not like the way we have been received at breakfast time by the person who was supposed to locate a place

The pool was a little small and the elevator was slow

The front lobby is beautiful. The junior suite is a good size room. Half of the staff were very helpful and hospitable. There are some excellent touches to their hospitality like complimentary treats in the evening and welcome treats . Telma, the bell hop lady was great and very helpful.

Our first room on the 5th floor was very clean and well maintained. We were switched to the 3rd floor room after first night because of terrible, uncomfortable bed. There was big dent where we slept and I could feel everything hard, spiny part of the feathers in the feather top mattress. The room on the 3rd floor was dirty with lots of stains of the couch and on the carpet. The hair dryer was very dusty with built in grime. Elevator has a long cue in the evening due to people lining up to get to the rooftop bar. Half of the bell hops were busy talking to each other or not approachable. The size of the consieur desk (2 stations) and reception desk (4 stations) is not enough staffing to handle the volume of guests. There's constant flow of cruise line guests and large event guests so the lobby can get very busy and crowded.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location for walking around the centre of Lisbon. The service was excellent . Having an outdoor pool was a great bonus . It was truly worthy of its 5 stars
