The Address Citywest

It’s close to where I wanted and the maitre’d in North plus the staff were excellent. The room was comfortable and spacious.

I asked for a room away from the motorway and I was given the room closest to the motorway. No ear plugs provided and there is no sound proofing.

Friendly staff. Secure parking (free). Gym available onsite but I didn’t have time to get to it. The North restaurant was nice. Good atmosphere. Pillows and bed was comfy although room was warm. Could open window but was situated next to the M7 which would have loads of traffic. We could still hear it even closed.

The main restaurant/bar was not attached to the main hotel you needed to walk across a small courtyard to get to it. Although it was not raining I wouldn’t care to get wet going for dinner at the hotel. I asked barman in the North Restaurant was there a bar in the the main hotel. I expected to be an actual bar to chill and maybe watch some sports with a drink. Left and went to the main part of the hotel and it was a little bar and you were sat in the foyer/reception area. Which wasn’t what I expected. Breakfast was also held in the restaurant. Rooms were ok. Nothing to write home about. Shower/bath was small with a curtain. Considering I was with my father that’s 84 year old wasn’t ideal for him getting into the bath to shower as the bath was high. We were also put into a room furthest from the elevator which also wasn’t ideal. The room was located next to the M7 which you could hear the traffic throughout the night.

The property was lovely , unfortunately the public transport too the city center is not the best

Very clean and modern.

Lighting is very poor when arriving in the dark. Receptionist loudly announced our room number instead of just pointing it out on the key card. As a woman I find this is very dangerous. Breakfast is in a separate building you have to go outside to access. The food choices are poor as was the layout. The bar/restaurant is not suitable for breakfast it's dark and quite loud. Far more suitable for an evening meal. The double bed in the room had mismatched bases where one was higher than the other. This combined with the very firm mattress made for a very uncomfortable night. By the time we realized this was the situation it was too late to notify reception as our child was asleep in the other bed. We did let them know on check out.
