Jagodic Garni Hotel

For myself, I am a bit "old school" and always lean into great service as a good place to build anything. The staff were excellent communicators, so warm, welcoming, as well as accommodating with what became a later than planned check in. I was there just for one night in that I did not want to travel to the place I am staying for a longer stay, and wanted something closer to the airport that was easy to find. The room was immaculate and quiet and the building, for my taste had a lot of charm with well crafted paintings by local artists hanging on the walls. The breakfast was one of the best breakfast bars I've ever encountered and my only regret is that I don't have six stomachs. This will be my go to every time I come to Slovenia to visit family, and next time, I think I'll plan for a few more days to get over the jet lag before moving on.

We loved this family owned hotel the night before our early flight home. Comfortable and great airport transportation. We left at 4:45 am and they were so kind to create to-go breakfast bags that included our vegan and vegetarian preferences! Above and beyond.

Nothing other than there isn’t anything else around the area.

It was clean and the staff was very kind. The location is close to the airport but honestly not close enough to hear planes. I recommend booking their shuttle because Ubers don’t want to do such short trips.

The bathroom was small and I personally hate shower curtains. There wasn’t a handle to leave the shower head so it was a bit unpractical. We could also hear everything inside the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t good (the eggs had a weird colour too).
