The bed is not that comfortable

The location next to the train station and bus stops for the buses to and from historic Guimaraes, it's also a reasonable walk, if you don't mind the climb on the way back! The staff in the hotel are very polite and helpful, the rooms are a bit dated but everything works and is well maintained. Breakfast is good with a range of cheese, meat, bread and pastries. There are a restaurant and a cafe either side of the hotel and a few metres walk away another bar and restaurant. I thought the hotel was good value for money too.

The hotel is noisy at times, I'm not sure if much can be done because of the age of the building but if the rooms could be better soundproofed it would help.

Nice small hotel in front of train station. 15 min to the city center by foot. Air-conditioner in every room. Also we had nice view from our balcony.

Parking space for only 2 or 3 cars in front of the entrance, however there is a free parking nearby. Rooms soundproofing may be better ) Also some wall outlets were broken.

Perfect budget hotel with an excellent breakfast available for 5 euros. This hotel is perfectly situated a few minutes walk from the old quarter, and 15 minutes walk to old city center. Limited parking available right in front, more parking anywhere on the street.

Slight leak around the toilet (clean water) but nothing serious

Everything was perfect.

Literally a 1 minute walk from Guimarães train station. Friendly helpful staff, who also spoke English, when checking in. The room and bathroom where spotlessly clean. Probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, with clean, crisp white bed linen. A bonus was that the night in the hotel, was so, so quiet, you're guaranteed a good night sleep. Brilliant selection for breakfast the following day. I'd definitely stay here again.

Helpful staff, nice bar and cafe beside the hotel, just across the road from the railway station. 10 minute walk to the city centre. Filling breakfast.

Slight uphill walk back to the hotel, but very minor issue.

Continental breakfast and coffee was good

Very good location, right next to the train station, with a few stores, restaurants, and even a self-service laundry facility very close. Breakfast is good value for money, but quite basic. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Wifi did not reach the entire room.

The room came with a good breakfast.

It was a very old hotel with dim toilet and corridor.
