It’s COMPLETELY pet-friendly! Dogs and CATS! They can go to anywhere (besides inside the pool water) on the property, including the restaurant! If you also can’t bear to leave your fur baby alone, this is the place for you! The bed is extremely comfortable, for someone with insomnia and usually only able to fall asleep after 2am, the bed did magic to me! I was asleep 10 mins after getting inside! Every night!! The included breakfast is until 11am, which is pretty nice for people that likes to sleep in a bit’ The receptionists are super nice!

The price is kind of high for the facility and location, plus pets are 40€ extra, per pet, per night.. For a 40€ per night stay, I’d expect at least a cat litter box and a cat-appropriate bed. And housekeeping could have vacuumed the bit of cat sand on the floor without being requested to do so. Our bathroom lights were not working nicely. 2/3 of them only light up when it wants to. The bedside lamps, one had a broken bulb, the other had a broken switch and a deformed cable. No switch for balcony light and it never lit up during our stay. There are also some extra switches that left me wonder what they do 😅 The mini fridge is really really old, with rust and a deformed shelf. It works, but with very small storage space. There were some spiders in the room. And spider webs on the pool bed. The breakfast options are not a lot, and every day is exactly the same thing. The honeycomb was not replaced after 4 days stay even though it basically had nothing left. There are coffee machine and drinking water available during the breakfast period. After the breakfast time, the machine and water stays the same place, but if you consume them, you’ll be charged. Pool water stayed pretty cold even in a 32 degree last afternoon. The town was kind of dead (3rd week of September), we went out for dinner, and 3 out of 4 restaurants we found on Google map were closed for vacations without updating opening time on maps. The Badoca Safari Park nearby was pure false advertisement. Majority of the animals were caged, and don’t have the appropriate living conditions. It’s more of a very poorly managed zoo than safari! And it’s has more farm animals than wild animals…

Die Hotelanlage an sich wäre sehr schön, ist jedoch leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer roch unangenehm und auch das Badezimmer wirkte teilweise renovierungsbedürftig. Insgesamt hatte man den Eindruck, dass die Zimmer schon länger etwas mehr Pflege und Liebe zum Detail gebrauchen könnten. Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthalts auch schlechtes Wetter. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass der Gesamteindruck bei schönem Wetter und mit der Möglichkeit, den Pool und die Terrasse zu nutzen, deutlich positiver gewesen wäre.
