Everything about this hotel suited us perfectly. Firstly it was a very short walk from the station. The room was a good size. It had tea/coffee making facilities with a biscuit. The towels were white and fluffy. Bedding was crisp and clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied and served in a super traditional room. Staff were very polite and friendly. We would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Location was great, very close to the train station and to the hotel where our work event was. Walking distance from the port and from many good restaurants. Hotel staff were very helpful and could speak good English. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff did a great job every day.
Important to note that there is no elevator which for me was ok but can be a problem for some. The shower is a bit small but also not so bad at all.

Visiting during the heatwave, the aircon was a huge relief! The front desk staff were very helpful with a map and advice, and being able to leave luggage before check in/after checkout is useful. We could check into one room which was ready early, which was most welcome. The sitting room on the first room is rather lovely and unexpected. We were on the second floor but the stairs are no problem unless you have mobility issues.
We didnt' try book the breakfast as we were out and about. One reason for booking is that the airport bus and taxi is within sight of the hotel, however I do recommend going to the taxi stand for a fixed price airport taxi, one was called to the hotel and cost more.
