ibis Sint Niklaas Centrum

The hotel is located just off the town central square, so it's an excellent location, a 15minute walk to the station, and 25minute walk to the Waasland shopping centre. I was able to check in early due to room availability. The lady who checked me in was so friendly and helpful, she remembered my name every time I saw her. There was an issue with the room I was initially placed in and she immediately moved me to another one. The breakfast selection was great, and well organised. Lots of choice and it was well stocked. The bar is open 24 hours, which is great when you come back late and fancy a drink. The shower was very powerful which I loved. Check out was very efficient, I just dropped my card in the box!

The bed was so uncomfortable. I booked a double and it was two singles strapped together, so there was a huge dip down the middle, and it was very difficult to find a comfortable position. I would like to be able to open a window properly, and not just have a small sliver open. As a solo female traveller I would have liked it if the lift worked with card access, to help restrict just anyone from coming in.
