The location in the heart of Murnau!

Comfortable room, powerful shower, stable and strong WiFi, good breakfast buffet with freshly made eggs "any style you want". Very competent and friendly lady at the reception. Location downtown in a lovely Bavarian village
Norhing to do with the hotel, but the restaurant options in the village are very limited on Monday's and Tuesday's and no decent German food to be found.

The room, location, style of hotel, receptionist on our arrival was very friendly.
The breakfast staff was very rude, coffee was not good, otherwise ok but could do much better.

The breakfast, location and staff were all of a high standard.
The fact that when we arrived the hotel denied having a record of our booking or of having received the monies I had paid to Booking.com. This was extremely annoying as the hotel was apparently full. The proprietor was very helpful and found us alternative accommodation for that night, drove us to and from a restaurant. In fact it turned out that there had been a cancellation for the remaining two nights of our stay and so we accepted a room at the Hotel Post (smaller than the one booked and paid for) rather than staying in the alternative one which was out of town and inconvenient because we had no car.
So far, Booking.com have been unable to provide any explanation as to what has gone wrong and the hotel has not volunteered any compensation. The room we booked - according to the hotel's own website - was considerably larger and also more expensive than the one we in fact stayed in.
Somebody is at fault and should own up - whether it is the hotel or Booking.com

Location is amazing and experience is very authentic.
It was little bit cold, but is just start of the season so I wouldn't be worried.

Though we were not greeted warmly in the morning, the appearance of the hotel manager in the afternoon made a huge difference. She's so kind and friendly, combining tradition with style in the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.
Bread at breakfast was not of top quality. Service was not very hearty.

Central location of hotel in Murnau. Historic building. Clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely breakfast room. Very good range of tourist information available at hotel. Reception staff gave very useful tips and information on local amenities, e.g. free travel by train to Garmisch, local restaurants, shops, etc.
Very little maybe breakfast could have slightly more choice?
