Hotel was nice staff great. And distance to town was good, would go again,

The location
The lift did not go to the third floor

The location is excellent. Wide views of the sea. The butternut soup with spectacular topping was hot, generous, velvety and lovely. I always love the 1920s art nouveau/art deco furnishings. Unique.
The breakfast scrambled egg was, in my view , a disaster. Stringy bits of undercooked white which I dislike and obvious bits of yolk. I ate less than half. After I went to bed the air conditioning (of the surrounding bathrooms ?) came on one after the other and I didn’t get to sleep until they all stopped.

The staff where very friendly and polite. The location was excellent for town, pier and prominard
The bed was very uncomfortable, bedding was old and lumpy.
The shower was set at a fixed angle which shot water across the bath to the opposite wall soaking towels and shelf.
The head had to be manually held to have any short of shower. very difficult
