Novotel Caen Côte de Nacre

The hotel is situated twenty five minutes walk from the center of Caen but there is also available a tram service which has a stop located a five minute walk from the hotel. The area is fairly quiet and for those who are driving is also located very near the access ramps for the main N814. Room size was good and the facilities at the hotel were ample, decent breakfast and we did enjoy and evening meal there which was good and reasonably priced. The hotel is very pet orientated and there is also a vets practice ten minutes away where we were able to organise the worming for our dog to comply with the health certificate. For anyone wishing to visit the war cemeteries or the D Day beaches this location is ideally placed.

Breakfast was great, pool was a highlight, every member of staff was amazing.

A basic hotel but perfect for a couple of nights as a base for exploring Pool is nice and clean Food is ok Car parking is an excellent addition for those who are exploring like us

A little basic, and it's in quite a modern / business area so you'll need to travel to reach the old town and any tourist places.

Not that much

Children ran wild in the reception area, parents should have been told to control their children - disturbed other guests and used all the drinking cups to play on the floor - then put them all back for guests to continue to use. Disgusting! Room was very basic and bed uncomfortable, bathroom needed a big update. And it wasn’t cheap - so not even good value for money. Would not stay again.
