Breakfast was not as diverse as I expected. Coffee was mehh.

Room cooled down naturally so didn't need AC. Beds were comfortable.

It's a good 10-15 minute walk uphill if you don't catch the 841 bus going north. No kettle or instant coffee in the rooms. Breakfast was okay - not many options for vegetarians or vegans and the coffee was made in bulk.

We had a balcony off our room with spectacular views of the mountains and down the street from the hotel is the Salt Path. The town is a lovely walk from the hotel

Its on the side of the mountain so walking there with all my gear was tough.

The staff were super friendly. The terrace offers great views. The food at the Fassl is good, but tries to feed an army, when probably half would be more than enough! 😊

Good location, they offer parking in the garrage. Big bathroom.

The rooms are a bit outdated, there is a smell of old, probably from the furniture and carpet. The pillows are also used and not very comfortable. The staff not very friendly. Suitable for one night.

)Good Hotel with a very nice restaurant and views of the Watzmann range and other Alpine peaks. The sunrise from the balcony was exceptional. Most of the staff were cooperative and attended us with a smile. The breakfast was standard and the views of the mountains while having your meal is somewhat relaxing. They have room service and on request, can arrange flowers and champagne in the rooms. Rooms were big and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was tasty (nice and big burgers). They also have half board options with buffet dinner which we did not try.

For the price we paid, the rooms were not clean enough. There was a basic cleaning done before we checked in, but we could still find cobwebs in the room, around a vintage lamp in the seating area. They are really particular about restaurant timings. and kind of misleading about the kitchen times. We were late one night for dinner(about 9pm) and they refused to serve in the restaurant saying kitchen was closed. Then they said that we could go to the bar and order food there, it is the same kitchen! so the kitchen was not really closed. During check in and in the hotel menus and information in the rooms, it is clearly mentioned that kitchen closes at 9.30 p.m. I am not sure why we were denied seating at the restaurant. Perhaps they were already cleaning up for next day. I would have expected a clear indication of timings at the time of check-in or in the information booklets in the room.
