Das Personal war fantastisch - sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Die Lage direkt an der Strandpromenade und nähe zum Stadtzentrum waren perfekt für uns.

Absolutely amazing location, great building, top notch facilities, sea side close to everything and most of all, super friendly and helpful staff. You really cannot go wrong with this! Speriamo di tornare presto.

The Palace Hotel is very comfortable and its location makes it easy to reach from Viareggio train station. Its position on the sea front is ideal. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Watching the sunset from the rooftop bar is a nightly ritual in summer, but it's advisable to reserve a table beforehand. I would also recommend dinner in the Blu Bar restaurant. (I didn't eat in Deco restaurant on the ground floor.)

The tea and coffee making facilities in the room were great, but housekeeping didn't replenish the teabags during my stay. I also found the wifi temperamental at times, which is surprising for a 4-star hotel. And whilst the breakfast buffet was great, the coffee service seemed inconsistent. Sometimes, a waitress would arrive at my table as soon as I'd sat down to ask if I wanted coffee (cappuccino), other times I would have to catch the attention of a server and ask. It seemed to depend on what time I had breakfast and who was on duty.

Only thing I would mention is that the hallways are very dark which isn't helped by the dark red and blue carpets which made it all a bit gloomy.
